Thank you :D Makes me happy reading nice replies :o

Cumbria glad they helped. If I find any more local bargains I'll let you know ;)

I've ordered a family and friends rail card (£24) Sort of budgeted, I've taken it from holiday savings. It will save us more than the £24 over the next month and then another £100 or so in September/October. So well worth having. I can cashout on PA this week so will use this to cover it and pay it back to the savings. Also waiting on Populuslive cheque. I'll probably send this over to the holiday savings too :o

I also used a code from work to get 12 months free on Kidspass. This has discounts on quite a few places we would like to visit while on holiday and discounts on eating out etc. Not sure how it works but for free I can't complain ;)

Sunday again which means Sunday roast has to be done ;) Roast beef today at smalls request. Will use up the all the sorry looking fresh bits in soup too.

I don't really have much planned this week. Smalls want to go to Salvation army for breakfast one morning (£5) and I think I will do the library and the aquarium on feed day *both of these are free* I hope the weather stays good enough to fit the park in too.

Oh I rambled that much I missed out answering about the new dog.

The new dog is brilliant. She's calmed down a lot and is now fully house trained. We've had a few things chewed but fingers crossed nothing important and she seems to understand only her own things are for chewing not mine :p

Old dogs, well Old but pup has brought out a whole new energy in her and the pair of them are best friends

I used to go to ours on a Saturday morning when my boy was little. He loved it. I have an elderly gentleman (even more elderly than me) upstairs who lives alone and goes there every day for their pensioners lunch. He says, although, he is not a religious person, he has made lots of friends and once a week he even collects an old lady (in her nineties) to go there for lunch and some company.

What kind of dog is the new one.

Smalls love the fuss that gets made over them TF. They are all so lovely. It's less than £5 for all 3 breakfast and a drink and me a coffee. I don't really like eating out usually I get a takeaway coffee and drink it alone outside but I feel quite comfortable sitting in the SA.

Pup is a staffy too x

    They are really lovely people.

Another little Staffy - how lovely. I would love to have a wee dog but they are a huge responsibility and I can't in all honesty commit to the amount of time required to take care of one properly. We go away on holiday a lot (now that we're retired) and I wouldn't want to put it into kennels for the length of time we wouldn't be here. I bet the wee ones love their dogs though.

    Evening :)

    Smalls all in bed.

I watched Greatest Showman last night because DS has been asking me for weeks to watch (He watched with a friend and though I'd like it) It was okay. The message is good but far too musical for me :o DS also asked me to watch Wonder which I really enjoyed.

We've had a quite day again really. Still struggling to do much - it takes ages to get anything done. Nothing worse than knowing it needs doing and you should be able to do it but can't/or it takes 5 times as long. Oh well. Is what it is and I got done what I wanted. More than some can do I guess.

No plans for tomorrow so might head to the cafe in the morning. Depending how early we are up.

Hope everyone's had a good day

It's not a school holiday in our house unless 1 of them gets sick :rotfl:

She seems okay but I won't risk spreading it if it is a bug  Probably too much popcorn and sweets :o
