    It's important to have a life whilst debt busting. As long as the bills are being paid, then there's no harm in doing something with the extra.

    Thanks for the tip about bowling, little jwil would like to go again after going with holiday club, I might see if I can find the code.

    WF I am truly grateful for your theatre and cinema tip. I found the theatre code on the newspaper website. DGS is going with his mum . The cinema I have joined up as a friend and we will be going next week or the week after for £1.95. Great for a rainy morning .

    Two weeks of the holidays over already, I am on childminding next week to cover for the hols. On Thursday I think a cinema trip and then swimming at my gym , a very cheap day out.

    Hope everyone is ok. How is your new dog these days ?

    You have to make the most of your children being young, they grow up so fast. You're making some fabulous memories for them. You could spend the summer holidays stuck at home bored and not spending anything or you could put the budgeting on hold for a short time and have a lovely summer to remember, I know what I'd rather do.
