Thank you.
I'm worried I thought the grass would be greener and it isn't. There will be a compromise we all come up with that will work and making sure the smalls happiness (and being safe) will be the main priority in those decisions.
I'm determined to make sure things work out and settle down that's for sure. I also realise I probably need more help with other areas and that also needs to be a priority. Long term I need to be more level the constant really highs and really lows are effecting the smalls. More than anything else going on.
Thank you again for all your help and replies. I really do appreciate every single one

So getting here back to what its for.
April is a wipe out in terms of goals. So I will start making a list for May. I have some things I want to sort but hopefully still being MSE about them.
Also New SOA time - sort off.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Firstly -
SOA - Complicated. Nothing set in stone yet.
Outgoings have changed a little. I now have sports on V1rgin package .. but it can be taken off again if things get too tight. It IS used more than any other channel on TV. I'm now paying for Netflix rather than sharing with relative.
Food - this has gone up. I don't have huge stockpiles anymore nor do I receive the free things from said relative. I'm not even sure what is a reasonable (expected) budget for 4 people (Dairy/soya free for all of us and Gluten free on the main for all of us but all the time for youngest) Any help welcome
Gas/Electric has been compared and we are on the best tariff for us while sticking with top up meters. I don't want to change this.
Water isn't on a meter. UU said it would be more expensive on a meter which I agree with.
Council tax - £23 a week for this years bill - over 12 months, can't make this any less.
Rent - £100 a week plus at least £12.50 a week for arrears - Can't make this lower but I do want to pay more.
Mobile phone - £5 a month on pay as you go. More recently this has needed to be £10 - maybe worth looking at a sim only contract? I like pay as you go though a I'm not tied in to having to pay it every month.
Taxi/Bus fares - This is still where a lot of money leaks away more like pours than leaks. I can't see an end to when things will calm down yet. We actually have more appointments now between me and youngest than ever before.
Presents/Entertainment - Has no budget Just comes out the grocery budget up until now maybe something to change going forward now I need to actually buy all the groceries myself?
I don't think I've missed anything although I bet I have :rotfl:“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
You sound more focussed hun.
Hope that the background stuff settles down for you xx0 -

I won't get it all in done in May and there will still be things once that's list is done. That's the first list :rotfl:
I need to do a card shop visit clearly for the cards, I need to bake cakes for the 1st and 22nd. We have a meal on the 15th too although I have the money for this in savings.
Countdown to holiday has started again Lets hope the next one is better than my last attempt.“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
As you're with V'gin have a look at their sim only deals as they should be able to give you a good one.
I got a really good deal from them on a sim only monthly deal and I think they should do a good PAYG deal too.BUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron
It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

I'm with Giff Gaff. You can buy a different bundle each month (or none at all) depending on what you need. It was a much better deal for me than I could get from Virgin."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0

I think Giff gaff is still the best for me too  and I don't have to top up if I can't afford too. I'll see what Virgin come back with But will probably stay with Giffgaff. I do send alot of texts though :rotfl:“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0
