Of course your happiness counts as much as anyone else's. If you've any doubts don't do it. If it was right for you you wouldn't have to think about it xx

I know it does count, I just don't see me as priority. If the smalls etc are happy then I'm fine.

I know only I can work it out, I just don't think I ever will. Until it's too late.

  • You've had some great advice and I can't say anything better than what others have already said. You and the small's happiness is the most important thing in the world right now.

You can talk about anything you want ,it's your thread to do that. I sometimes go on about all sorts of nonsense.

You do need to think of yourself and your happiness , because surely if you are happy , the smalls will be as well.

    Keep posting .

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

I'm clueless when it comes to music. :)

Just a thought about the happiness thing... if you can identify anything that makes you actually happy (not just okay with things), then hold on to that. I'm concerned that in trying to make others happy, you won't end up happy yourself and will end up feeling cheated and resentful.

Meanwhile, as others have said - it's your diary and you certainly can cry if you want to. You can even bust debts and clean if you want to. You seem to have great talents at both those things. :)

Here's to a peaceful night for you and the little ones xx

Its fine to want your children to be happy and that is most parents priority but remember they don't have the mature brain that adults have so things that make them happy might not be good for them either physically/emotionally/verbally.

Every child wants their parents together, that is only natural and if all they have ever seen is the nice side then of course that's what they want.

You should not put your happiness aside for anything, there are plenty of children who's parents live apart and even when this has been the case for years the children will often wish their parents were back together - I doubt its because that's what they really want but because society tries to promote the 2 biological parent lifestyle.

I bet your children, especially your son are aware of the atmosphere in the house previously and although he may not have mentioned it he knows and who knows what issues this will cause in years to come.

My husband is 39 and he still remembers his awful childhood - he does remember some good bits but it was always overshadowed by when the next argument would come from and who would attack who next. I'm sure his parents thought he was oblivious to it but here we are at 39 with serious mental health problems.

I'm not saying that is definitely going to be the case with your children but you need to think long and hard about protecting them and not just making them happy.
