Natty, I truly will.. my house is so full of rubbish it is unreal. We took another mountain out of the loft so we can put OH's 6 huge boxes of comics up there never to see the light again.

Strewth Piggers, how much rubbish did you have before you started clearing.? No on second thoughts don't answer that one honey..lol I have had a thought to make it more productive can you not think that you are going to move house, and need to do major clearouts before you move, or are having new carpets or something like that.. This is what I have done, and it actually works..

I'm actually having new taps throughout the house upstairs and downstairs, so this is making me look at my kitchen and seeing what needs to be thrown as I don't want my neighbour plumber guy to see the state of it..lol

Firstly (with my Pedant's hat on and tongue firmly in cheek) I don't send Christmas cards, I send Yule cards. ;) Secondly, I have made my own this year (can never find anything I like that doesn't have the C word in and doesn't cost a small fortune). I finished printing them out a couple of days ago. Which is just as well as the pc is poorly and has got to go to pc hospital, and I cba installing the printer software on the laptop just to print a few cards. :D

I actually thought of you as I wrote it LW.. I do the Christmas card thing for Dave, and if I get one that says Seasons Greetings I get all excited..lol I am the same as you, but I do celebrate Christmas mainly for my family, but inside and privately it's Yule for me.

I want to be on the pledge list but I can’t think what to pledge.

I have done ALL the ironing, I put the aired stuff away and then finished it off, including what was washed and dried the morning.

    Towels in WM.

    Good night all x

That doesn't work for me.. the thought of moving house makes me want to take the long walk off a short pier. It isn't rubbish, it is just 'stuff' .. when we decorated the middle room everything that was in it got shunted into the loft.. 12 years ago!!!! There is just so much stuff.. I need a baby girl younger than Twinkle to pass everything on to.. time will send me one.

For Heaven's sake man, stop fussing and try cooking some dinner - or do the washing up to save me having to put my hands into it tomorrow evening

Would have gone and got chips but there's a very angry drunk outside yelling at what used to be his ex girlfriend's house. He does appear to be slowing, so perhaps he'll skulk off for a nice little nap in a while.

    Rampant Recycler Debt-free and Proud!
    Evening all

Please can you check I'm on your list for cards Natty

Great to read some of you are doing so well with the decluttering. It really does feel brilliant when you go to a drawer or cupboard afterwards doesn't it. Super sense of achievement and it spurs you on to do some more eh.

I'm really p****d off now with the window company. I eventually 'phoned the project manager at 2.30pm, having not heard anything from him, and he said he was sorting it and would call me back before the end of the day. Guess what - no follow-up. What is up with people today ? How much effort to make a courtesy call to up-date me eh

    Did dailies
    Spanish lessons done
    Some done off kitchen list
    Bathroom cleaned inc floor
Hoovered up the dust bunnies shifted from behind things in spare room
Took down, cleaned and boxed-up speakers from stereo system
Sorted some more of my pledge box

We have sorted, cleaned, boxed (where appropriate) and given away all our 'gardening stuff' from the balcony and outside the front porch over the weekend. We needed to move it all for the windows people anyway, but will not be using any of it again with our move. Just kept a few hand tools to take with us. So today I gave the balcony and porch area a good clean out.

Had earlier dinner today. Then did the kitchen WUDUPA and floor and had some lovely 'me time' with a bubble bath, a glass of wine and a read of my book. In jimmies now and off to land of nod soon.

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room/Area
Wipe & replace small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)
MAD half hour ~ Have you got Christmas Cards to buy?
    Extras...
Clean the dish drainer, make sure you clean under it too
Clean any 'medium' size appliances, bread makers, slow cookers etc

    Tuesday - Lovely Living Rooms
Vacuum floors in these areas, even if around clutter
Move things so you can vacuum under them
Vacuum and wipe (if needed) sofas
Dust any areas below eye level
Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)
    MAD half hour
Extra tasks if you want to do more
Clean windows in these areas, check curtains/nets/blinds while you are there, do they need a clean?

Hugs, sticks and spoons for everyone needing some
Hope you all have a super Tuesday

DS1 did turn up, just as I was about to go out, and stayed long enough to drink a :coffee: with us :D so I was three-quarters of an hour late for the Old Wives' meeting, but they were only doing crafts so it didn't matter, and I got there in time for nibbles and more :coffee:
