Thanks Maria. Some of those courses look pretty good for free. I was looking at a few courses last year but was going to pay silly money to do them through learn direct.0

Well done on becoming debt free you have worked really hard to make it work.
As for future plans, if its a bike OR a laptop then I suppose you need to consider which will be of more benefit to you future wise, money wise and which one will you use the most?

Thanks KM:A
Laptop is obviously more benefit for the future as i can then do some online courses to up my CV for a new job, also we will need a PC or laptop for when we move out. As i dont think i could go without the net!
But also the bike would come in very handy for saving on fuel. I have looked at bikes in Halfords there quite cheap, but i could just buy a 2nd hand bike....might have a look on ebay. Or even better i could borrow my OH's for summer months, only thing is his 6ft and im a short !!!! so it maybe a little big for me. I must have a look when i next go to his.
Ok so, i had a NSD yesterday. And today i spent £38 on petrol - this is for a full tank which lasts me the month. And 31p on foamy sweets from Asda that are sooo yummy! I also used a coupon from the bag of the Asda mag for free vitamins worth £3.98!
Total spend £38.31:D
I have also booked off some holiday from work 14th july for a week! We cant take holiday in August because of the V festival its a busy, busy month as with have the workers that build the stages etc staying at the hotel and as you can imagine there filthy! So i thought id book a week off before the big rush as we wont be going aboard this year so dont need to save lots of holiday. OH has the week off too and his folks are off on holiday again that week so i will be staying at his for the week.;)Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Have you thought about looking on Freecycle for a bike? I've never used it myself but there are alot of people on these boards who have benefited from it.

Morning all,
I have rubbish news today...my OH's work has stopped overtime so his wage is going to drop from £20,000 to just £15,750.He relied on overtime to boost his wages, they say they cant afford to give out overtime.:(
I havent looked at his bike yet to see if i can ride it as his been over mine this weekend. I did used to go on Freecycle but never managed to get anything as its always gone seconds after its been put up.....i swear there are people that sit on freecycle all day taking everything to sell on ebay or car boots!:rotfl:  Ive had a look on ebay but the nearest bikes on there are over 30 miles away, so i will keep looking until one comes up that is closer to my house.
Ive added yet another baby basket full of goodies to my collection! I printed off a coupon for sainsburys which is the same as tesco's baby club..buy a pack of huggies nappies and get a baby basket of goodies worth £10 free. The nappies had 1/3 off so cost me £2.49. I will be storing these under my bed or me or for any friends that may get preggers.
I also got 2 massive free boost smoothie drinks free with 2 coupons i printed out. I havent tried them yet but they look yummy!
Its 5p listing day on tuesday on Ebay so i have found a few bits that i can put on there including my broken GHD's. OH also has a load of stuff to put on there.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -

I dont know whats going to happen with us now. We need another talk about the future! And now things have changed with the wages drop. I really need to get a full time job ... the baby dreams look far away now.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750

Yeah thats one of my worries about having a baby as MP is only £117 per week and my wages work out too £298.08 per week, a massive drop!
Plus i would want to take at least the full year and currently its only 9 mths paid but that might change.
But then again a lot of people say babies are only as expensive as you make them, can get baby clothes off ebay and toys and breastfed which is free, can get reusable nappies etc.Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0
