Are you going to the Motor Show at Excel Maria? I think you got free tickets too. I think my OH and I might go up the week of the 23rd July. It was amazing last time. We saw the new shape Type R in white, it looked amazing. Shame you can't get the White in the UK. I don't think i'd ever have the money to import one sadly.0

I have the tickets but wether we're going or not is another thing! It all depends if OH has the money for train fare etc. Not sure what date we'd go.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750

Hi
Im back from a week at OH's...its gone so quick!
Total spend for the week
£15.99 Engine oil
£8.00 Oil filter
£4 pizza
Total: 27.99
The whole week was spent on cars! While OH's mum was away she said if we clean her car inside and out she will give us £50. Her poor focus was covered in bird poo from where it sits under a tree and the inside was covered in mess from where they take things to the dump in it! It took 2 days to clean properly inside and out! ...so that was 2 days gone!
Then we did half a service on my car and serviced his car.I also painted my brake calipers in the rain!! I still need to buy them damn spark plugs though.
Also the vouchers i sold last week for £15 and money i had in paypal from items i had sold ages ago i used to buy a set of new rear lights.....NOT lexus lights btw just to get that clear as i hate them! Anyway they came today and have the crack the size of 15cm in one of the lights!
I emailed the seller who said 'there was no crack when i sent them, must of happened in transit!' . I looked at the crack again and seen it has been glued up even! so i replied to him ' Im sure this didnt happen in transit as the crack is glued up. not only does it look awful but will let the condensation in.' and i sent him a pic of the crack as he asked to see it.
His reply was ' I have better things to do than email you!!! I took them off my car and they were not cracked. If you must send them back and i will fund you back the cost of the light but not postage.'
But i am not doing that as i will be £20 down on postage as the lights were £12.50 and the postage was £10! So i replied back i will expect a part refund of £4 but havent heard anything back. I looked in his feedback and he has a negative saying 'item damaged, apparantly in transit offered refund but not postage! so his done it to others too. What a rude seller! ahhhhhh!!!! :mad:Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -

Hiya,
Thats awful about the lights, so many untrusting sellers on ebay, they ruining it for everyone. If you put a dispute thru paypal you will get all your money back i think, they normally side with the buyer. I've had a few things before that i disputed as they were not as described, and i got all my money back, incl' postage. Give that a try, wipe the smile off the rude seller.0 -
Well the nasty ebay seller replied saying sorry for being rude, but i do not sell damaged goods, i will give you the £4 refund you asked for.
And he has. So im happy now. I left him netural feedback seeing as he aplogised and gave the part refund i wanted back. Hopefully you wont see much of the crack on the light when the boot goes down...we will see.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -

Ok, Ive found some things to sell on ebay
- My 6 Cineworld tickets i won (there selling for about £6 a pair!)
- My Thorpe park deal tokens (OH doesnt want to go now!)
Only thing is the tokens have my surname on them so not sure other people can use them. Theres lots of Thorpe park deal tokens on ebay at the moment selling well. I have read all through the T&C's and it doesnt say anything about needing ID when you exchange the tokens for the tickets. But i want to make sure 1st so have asked on the vouchers board.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750
