It will work out eventually, have you still got that house deposit money? That would keep you going if you rented for a whileNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0

I know this won't help much if you are feeling broody but I had my DD at 32 and in my opinion that is a great age to have a baby. I was more patient and I was more settled financially and house wise.
You've got plenty of time don't rush things baby wise, get settled with your training/career and a house then think babies. BUT of course that is just my opinion and you have to decide for yourself, I just thought I'd add my two penneth of wisdom
You've got so much positive going for you both, to have such a big lump sum already given to you is a massive bonus, you both have a great attititude to money and you are debt free what a fantastic basis to now plan how you are going to go forward. I wish I had so much at 25

Thanks lilmiss & KM.:A
What you said has made me feel alot better KM. Your right i forget how lucky we are to have £10,000 just given to us...(well its OH's really but its for deposit so both ours;) ). I suppose its seeing my friends and family having babies, getting married, moving out etc. I feel like im being left behind and my life doesnt change one year from the next! ...Thats where i really need to get some plans going of what i want to do now.
I must admit i do worry about things like what if i decided wait to have children till im in my 30's like you said KM but then i couldnt concieve? and then often in the mags, papers, TTCC thread i read about problems in pregancys in 30's etc and that mid 20's in best time to have a baby. When i was 19 i had an infection down there that can scar your tubes and ive had a cyst pass out once too. So i often wonder when i do come off pill at whatever age if i will be able to conceive. Im probably just being way to paranoid but thats just me always paranoid about everything!:oMake £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
I know what you mean about worrying if you can conceive etc I also was told I had scarring on one of my tubes so was only relying on one of them but thankfully I was able to conceive no problems.
You've got to do what is right for you, but I am glad you are feeling better seeing how much positive you have going for you both. You'll make the right choices for you as you sound to have a very balanced attitude to things.

Sorry to hear about OH's wage drop, fingers crossed things will be back to normal soon and he can start earning overtime again.
Good news about the baby goodies, you are great at finding baby deals.0 -
Hey all,
Havent posted in ages as not much to update on.
This morning i woke up a 3am feeling really sick, so i got up went downstairs for a glass of water come over really faint next thing i know i woke up on the kitchen floor with my dog licking me! I had to roll in a ball on the floor for another 15 mins as still felt too dizzy to get up! Then went back to bed eventually. I dragged myself to work as dont get paid sick pay and good job i did as one man left £35 tip in the room for me when he left! Thats £10 more than what i get for a days work! I couldnt believe my luck!:D
Anyway i feel alot better now, not sure why i woke up feeling sick and fainted.....i know what your probably thinking and no im still on the pill so shouldnt be pregnant!
I finally got the £5 paypal paid into my account from lightspeed. And today i ordered another £10 boots voucher.
I havent saved any money yet as my mum kindly reminded me that i owed her £200 from about 2 years ago that i had forgot about. So my first wages that i thought i would be able to treat myself with or save i had to give to my mum!
Im off work for a week now:j 9 days including weekends! and will be spending it at my OH's while his folks are away. We have plans to service both our cars, use our free cinema tickets and just enjoy some time together!;)Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Hi Maria,
I hope you're feeling better? have you done a test to be sure? because they sound exactly like pregnancy signs.
Very nice of your mum to remind you about the money.
I hope you have a lovely week off with the OH. Have fun.

No i havent done a test as im sure it was just something i ate that i might be allergic to. I had meatballs that evening they had loads of onion in, i reckon it was them!
Friday evening my grandad had another heart attack and is in hospital again bless him. His feeling ok now but will be probably be in hospital the rest of the week.
Yesterday Tesco made me a happy girl by sending my baby extra points vouchers, so i added them to some that i had left over from the last mailing and have put them on ebay as there worth £83 in deals. There at £14.50 with 5 hours left at the mo!
I was just digging around in the shed and found an oil filter for my car that i brought last year, so thats one less service part i have to buy this week!Just got to buy spark plugs, oil and fuel filter now. As pollen filter i changed last year and the air filter i have is a sports one and doesnt need changing, just oiling every 2 years. So thats all good. I just hope the weather will be nice all this week.:D
