    Hey peeps,
Wow the sun is out at the mo! :rotfl:

Well went to Tesco homeplus last night to get nephews birthday pressie. In this months tesco mailing i had a £4 off when you spend £30 which was valid until 1st June, only had until sunday to use it. So ended up buying £30 worth of pressies for him!! So after the voucher spent £26. OH said he wanted to go halves on the presents for him so only cost me £13.:D ...I didnt use the clubcard vouchers in the end. So thats £13 of my extra money earned last week gone....but to my gorg little nephew so i dont mind.;)

I also won a venus razor from glamour comp today and i was looking through the i won i won thread and found my name on a winners someone had posted for a recent comp! Its a gary moore hoody and t-shirt!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Will come in handy on my lazy days in the house or garden!;)

Anyway heres hoping the weather will be nice and sunny for party 2moz as my mums brought nephew one of those metal scooters he will want to scooter around all day in the garden i bet!

Glad ya got some good pressies cheap!

I was thinking bout you earlier and how your not sure whether to rent or buy, you thought about shared ownership? A few people i know are doing it, i was looking into it too but decided i want my own property i fully own but as your keen to move out and have money saved i thought it might suit you?

Although i have just read the most scary thing ever in my life that is putting me off having a child ever!

LOL i saw that thread earlier too about birth and after birth. :rotfl: All my friends who have had babies have told me there horror stories like that. But every birth is different hey?! If thats what we have to go through to get a mini me and OH then i will just have to bare it! ;)

We have looked into part buy part rent, the rent isnt cheap and still adds to the same as what a mortage would be. And i would rather own a house outright than only half as it all gets confussing when you want to sell etc.
But there is a new government scheme that im interested in where you buy half with a mortgage and the otherhalf with a loan from government which interest only costs 2%. Its a very good deal and you can buy whatever house/flat you want on the open market. It doesnt have to be new. But you have to be on the council housing list to take part in the scheme..... i have wrote out the forms but havent sent off as they need so many different copies of income, savings, p60 etc etc.

Well end of the month and in my make £5 a day in May challenge i made £310.20/£150 :Dmainly due to all my prizes i have won this month! :D
I wont be joining this months challenge but i will still be making as much extra money as possible.

It was the last day of the Glamour comp today so i probably wont be winning much now :( I will find out if i have won the last two prizes in that comp on monday. Then i wlll post all that i won in May.

I just had a look at my juicybrains account and i have enough for a £5 Amazon voucher. I think i will keep it in the account at the moment as theres nothing i want from Amazon. Which reminds me i still have £5 in my HMV E-wallet from left over of Toluna vouchers. I might have a look see if theres any good DVD's in the sale.

Well the weather looks good so far! hopefully it will hold out all afternoon for the party.

Well the party went well yesterday, my nephew got to play on his new scooter outside as the weather was lovely! The power ranger got pushed to the side when he saw i had brought him a 'cars' toy which he played all afternoon! And even my 5 month old nephew was trying to play with it.

On the way to the party yesterday i took back the clothes from Asda i brought the other day as i decided i didnt like them! So ive got my £20 back now!:D :rotfl:

    Morning all,

    Another dull looking day outside:confused:
I havent wrote on here for a while so here's my catch up.

I done another 4 hours extra at work this week just gone and got paid about an extra £15 for it.

I received £10 boots voucher from valued Opinions and £10 Boots voucher from pigsback. Which will both go in my collection of boots vouchers im saving for when the time comes to start a family. :o

I won a pair of cinema tickets, so now we can go see indie jones for free! :D I can recommend that you go out and buy 2 bottles of diet coke (there 2 for £1.50 in tesco and asda) as they have a comp on the bottles 2500 cinema tickets to be given away everyday. You just enter the code on the bottles under label on website then they email you the next day if youve won. I entered both the codes and won both tickets. Every1 on comp thread seems to be winning all the codes they enter as 2500 is loads to give away everyday!;) Two cinema tickets for £1.50 is a bargin!

My shopandscan scanner is playing up i think it needs new batterys so that will need to be sent off i suppose.

Oh and i complained to Asda about some sausages i brought for them they cost £2 and asda gave me a £10 gift card to say sorry! :D So that can pay for my hair dye that i need this weekend! ;)

    Right the credit card......

My statement has come and the balance has gone up £100 to £950 coz of interest and petrol. I didnt quite make enuff money to pay it all off like i hoped i would though, i have £714 in my account so im just short of £186! But im very chuffed with that! Considering i had OH's and nephew birthdays to pay for!

So on monday when my wages go in i will pay off £714 off the card :) And at the end of this month when i get the next statement all i will have to pay is £186 and i will be debt free! AAAAhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! :):):):):):) Whoop whoop!

    Hi Maria,

Wow, not long to go before you are debt free now. Its going to be such a great feeling knowing you don't owe a single penny. Well done you.

Thanks again for the coca-cola tip, I put in a code the other day, and found out today i have won a movie ticket, got 3 more codes to enter now, so fingers crossed I will win another ticket, then my OH can get in for free too :j :j . Cinemas are just so expensive these days!!!

Well done on the Asda complaint, I always fortget to complain when i experience bad things, i should start complaining more, its totally worth it. My OH writes lots of complaint letters, and gets so many different vouchers for different restaurants.
