There's a few too many people reading Russian bot memes in this thread.

anyone who genuinely believes that is deluded

yes there are loud voices calling for minorities to be given equal rights, and rightly so

The system is still weighted against minorities and it will take time before our society is truly equal.

Again this is just the right wing snowflakes bleating because the system is slightly less weighted in their favour than before. And today those voices are most certainly the loudest - and most influential so not sure why the complaints!

A right wing snowflake has had a post of mine pulled !!

Snowflakes are not right-wing - pretty much by definition.

I am aware that it is a term of abuse used by the right against the left, but this thread shows that the right are often equally over-sensitive. I made the point on the first page that it was ironic that those who complain that you can't say anything any more are the ones directing the snowflake insult at others!

but the right are equally capable of being 'censorious cry-babies'

This is the definition according to google:
"Generation Snowflake, or Snowflake Generation, is a neologistic term used to characterize the young adults of the 2010s as being more prone to taking offence and less resilient than previous generations, or as being too emotionally vulnerable to cope with views that challenge their own."

so actually more a reference to age rather than left wing views, but I'd say that description fits someone like the OP and many others of her generation to a tee as well.

Some of the worst snowflakism I've seen has come from right wingers.

No doubt whatsoever, they often criticise snowflakes for having a sense of entitlement. Which is a problem across all ages and social groups.

I'm not sure that it amounts to the same thing or comes from the same place. At the risk of coming to regret this: some examples might help.

As examples of "snowflake thinking", I'd cite the de-platforming of great left/liberal speakers/thinkers like Germaine Greer and Peter Tatchell. Their sin being to have slipped (possibly only marginally) from the doctrinal view of their audiences.
