I made a simple comment, not a lecture - I've only said more because of other's comments. I find your negative attitude to his giving up smoking to be quite shocking, I hope you never have to see the consequences of that attitude either here or IRL.

I find your insensitivity even more shocking.
  • Particularly important as smoking is one of the causes of strokes and once someone has had a stroke they're more likely to have another. Far more of a worry than some of the things being posted.

Not at 25, chances are that it is a hemorrhagic stroke, so smoking is probably not involved

FRom the Stoke association. "Smoking makes you twice as likely to die if
you have a stroke, and the more you smoke, the greater your risk of stroke."

Perhaps, that will settle the argument!

That will be really welcome news for someone who is possibly depressed. Not.

Clearly, you know nothing about health, strokes and acquired brain injuries.

How did your appointment go Obay? I'm not sure what kind of therapy appointment you had whether talking therapy or physical therapies. Are you feeling any better or any worse from when you posted this thread?

I'm getting more angrier by the day, but the last few days have been 'chilled' to say, where nothing has been done and I've just sat down and nothing has done, no thinking, some diazepam (i think they're called?)

So it's been peaceful.. The wife is a bit of a hit and miss here and there. I'm not happy currently, I did save my self a load of money by shopping for toiletries on Amazon (sad, I know but this made me VERY happy).

My son is my rock, he is pushing me through this, even though it's hard.

This is a very one-sided conversation, my wife is in a lot of pain, pies, period and has problems from the crash. She has a lot on her mind too, she is wanting to finish up the decorating of the house, but she can't as she is so bad.

--- Not sure what else to add maybe she is in so much anger because of this pain and taking it out on me?

On work background, I have taken on 2x new 36 month contracts which total of £1200 each per month.

Brilliant I'd say as this now puts me in a prime position to pay off my owings plus my mortgage will be paid much faster.
