They way the house is decorated and all the clutter would not entice me to view.
If you are that desperate then reduce the price by 10,0000 -
Okay, so things we can do easily then ...move the dining table (it's horrible and i hate it so happy to get rid and buy a smaller one perhaps ?, move the desk ..suppose i can work on my lap for a few months as long as it is only a few months and the shower curtain ..we can look at getting the ceilings done although not sure we can really do much more as we have already done so much to it

Can you tell me what a floor shopping lab is ?0 -
It's another house where sadly the previous pictures are still very visible on line so it looks as if you have done very little in the 11 or so years that you have been at the property.
much more decluttering needed throughout the house and again it cones down to the fact that there looks to be a decent sized front garden...but it doesnt have that pretty kerb appeal to make me want to click through the rest of the ptotos.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
The photos that are on rightmove are from when we were halfway through renovation and were going to sell (back in 2009) then i fell pregnant and was made redundant so not really fair that they are still visible tbh0

I quite like it as a small quirky cottage.
Your neightbours have extended out the front- why not mention that this is possible (subject to planning of course).
Offer to mow the neighbours' front lawn strip to make the shared frontage look smarter.
Can you fit a double into the second bedroom? If so state this.
The garden looks to have lots of potential, but the overlooking windows are distinctly weird. Bit late, but could you temporarily screen them with some tall potted plants or trellis? They are an EYESORES!!!!0 -

so you are priced the same as your "conventional" competitor @ 225k so I think yours is a case of waiting for the right person to fall in love with your quirkyness rather than someone who can see instantly what they get your modern(mid terrace) conventional competitor
I second the commends re need for a plot map as the description "offset rear garden" is totally confusing when looking at the photos showing a barn that isn't yours but has ground level windows starting straight at your lawn, and a greenhouse which may be someone else's garden entirely as there is no fencing visible behind it.
the lack of a pic of your actual back door so we see what "offset" means does't help
and I fully agree with the ill defined front garden comments, pic 1 emphasises that a) you are end terrace but no space down the side tpo extend/ do a driveway like your neighbour has and b) your attached neighbour is a mess and what is yours or theirs is far from clear
pic 16 is slightly better but even then it could be misleading as you don't fully understand the boundary between you and your attached neighbour
overall therefore much easier to simply bypass you and go for the same priced "conventional" house0 -
Thanks everyone for all your comments ...a mid terrace cottage recently sold on the same street and they have told us they accepted @235k well aware it's better than ours so from what you are all saying we need to pull it off the market and redecorate/do the changes and then put new photos on ...what do you suggest ?
we are in the process of sorting out the gardens ...my neigbour loves his garden and is always out there but yes we agree it's a bit of a mess ..can't help that though we do have a little wooden fence but you can't really see that in the photos ..we have been told you can extend out the front and onto the flat roof so there is room for potential just not for us as we barely have room as it is ( which you can clearly see LOL ..
Anyway will be back will new photos soon i hope and next time i wont get a slating :rotfl:
Really do appreciate everyone who has taken the time to comment i know our home isn't for everyone but we loved it when we bought it so certain someone else will ....we have had it all double glazed, roof redone, damp sorted ( lifetime guarantee) re-carpeted, fireplace surround fitted, guttering and new bathroom, new boiler, rads installed..plus decorated throughout with new doors and under floor heating so not like we haven't done anything to it ..just that you can't see it from looking at it i suppose !
anyway i'm off to chuck out more stuff ..wish me luck
