Morning all - back on my feet and will be flying as much as I can - have lots of hospital appointments

Thank you Nattie & Valli for the lovely lists

I would love to do secret santa but finances do not allow this year

Up at crack of dawn as DS had to be in school for 8am for school trip, just defrosting then will get busy
  • Morning All :)

Friend still much the same, another MRI being done today.

Been busy busy busy this morning. Got up at 6 with DS, and so far I have:

    - Kiddies fed, dressed and taken to respective educational places!
    - Made DH lunch and dispatched him to work
    - Unloaded DW
    - WUDUPA bits and bobs
    - 1 x WM and TD
    - Post office and sorting office trips
    - Had a shower
    - Made our bed
    - Long conversation with M-i-L
    - Done the online money shuffle

Going volunteering shortly, then to give blood (which I am quite nervous about), then school run then taking DS for his flu vaccination. Just decluttering a cuppa first.

Will report back later, have lovely days all xx
    MFW :)

I shall be attempting a little light fluttering after Snoozy Suzie goes home (due to be picked up 16:00 today). She's currently spark-out on the green chair in the lounge, cutting zzzzz like there was no tomorrow! :D
Meanwhile, Mr LW has been despatched to the garden while it's good enough weather to cut the grass.;)

Jojo I'm with you on animal films. Several I won't watch because I just know they's leave me a sobbing mess:
    • Watership Down
    • Ring of Bright Water
    • Marley and Me
and that's just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Me again!

Just scoffing a sarnie after two hours of copper pipe wrapping to protect it from lime plaster. Electricans have bailed until Thursday  Nursing another poorly chicken and have a mountain of ironing to do now.

I can't watch animal films either - Black Beauty and Lassie both reduced me to a sobbing wreak as a child.

  • I think I am actually flying today,

    Bathroom cleaned
WM, TD & HHI so all up to date
vacuumed bedroom, bathroom, landing, stairs, living & kitchen so not looking bad.
    wood brought in for fire
And paperwork tray in kitchen sorted through, just 2 things left which I will hopefully advance on later as need more info which has been requested.
Off out to do some much needed chores which I have been putting off.

Hugs and smiles for those that need
    Xx

I've got to the point with films in general that I can spot the animal that's going to be a deader within the first five minutes. Once I've got the deader nailed I don't need to see any of the film. The older I get the easier it is to spot sentimentality and I can't be doing with it any more.

So far I've made three lists:
    - Today's jobs
    - This week's jobs
    - Next month's jobs, and
    - reconciled a bank statement,
    - made a huge start on indexing my daily notebooks,
    - sorted out a problem on another bank account (whoops),
    - moved some money around to plug a hole,
    - sent an email I wish I didn't have to,
    - started filing some teetering piles of paperwork and
    - packed OH off to do the things he needs to do out of the house and fielded several phone calls from him as a result.

    So far so good.
    Better is good enough.

Been out with OH this morning, I now have a kitchen side full of toys / games for the various Gkids, I'll going to wrap and OH write the tags, however a flaw in the plan is OH has gone to sleep on the sofa!

    Lunch is done
Another 2 loads of washing done

  • Another total wimp here, I get a bit nervous watching Blue Planet if something looks like it is going to get ill/attacked/eaten by something else.

So.. gym first thing, paid stuff no.1, now on with paid stuff no. 2 next. Leg of lamb in the oven, wonder if DS will do the spuds and veg when he gets in.

The bathroom floor is grubby and the shiny bits in the bathroom need a polish. But paid stuff first.
