  • can someone help me again please, so iv just had a phone call from a nurse from PIPs they have asked me to give them a number to a mental health nurse i seen so they could stop my face to face assessment, but when i rang PIPS the other day they said report was done and they were sending me a copy, so im so confused now, does any one know whats going on? any help would be good, thankyou
  • Hi, i think you need to phone them up as not sure anyone on here can answer that.

Tell them when you phone what happen about the report that should then put your mind at rest
  • The PIPS person just rang me back, I dont need to go for a face to face as they got the information needed from mental health nurse!! Thanks for your help
  • Hi, thats good news, sometimes when you are down, you get picked up and not kicked down.

Christmas should be better for you now with that off your mind

I could no longer work after finding out my cancer was incurable, so I sent in the forms and was awarded PIP at the highest levels in both levels.

I was always against PIP, but I've paid a lot in so why not?
I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

It's not good or bad, it just means you didn't need to attend the assessment. Ring DWP to ask for a copy of the assessment report to be sent to you. This will give you some idea what the decision is likely to be as they mostly go with the report.
  • i got my report this morning i added all the points up, i got 23 in one and 10 in other if i go by the report , thankyou every one for all the help
  • just spoke to pips they have told me a award letter was sent out yesterday, and my first payment would be the 4th, will that be the back dated money, or just my first payment? any help would be great. Thankyou

It will be all of your back dated money. Then it will be every 4 weeks. Your award letter will have all the payment details and amounts.
