Buy humous when it's whoopsied, freeze it immediately and defrost as needed. Just give it a good stir round, no change in taste or texture.
Very handy for me with 2 veggetarian DD's.
If you don't get it whoopsied you can always make your own and freeze it:)

When you get a new shirt or anything with buttons dab the thread attaching the button to the material with clear nail varnish it will stop the thread breaking for a much longer time and prevents you from losing the button on first wearing, hope this helps people who hate sewing;)0

That's a great tip! I don't mind sewing on buttons, but I do hate losing them!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D

Also, sew the spare button onto the label, so it can be found easily when needed.0

I've just started stopping the shower to soap up before turning it back on again to rinse off. Seems to be a double win to me . . . . less water used and less gas used to heat up the water (we have a combi).
Anyone else do this?0 -
Don't you get a cold blast before it gets back up to temperature?
Personally, I shower with the plug in, (as shower is over bath) then use water to flush the loo!0 -
Yes. I wet hair and body, switch off, shampoo, on again to rinse, put conditioner on and wet scrunchie. I wash then put shower on for third time to rinse off.
Seems obvious really.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.
