I've just read the free money-saving booklet. It's more "household tips" eg use gaffer tape to repair shower curtains, use bicarb to clean a microwave etc.
I don't think I'll bother to buy the paper tomorrow to get part 2.0 -

what is the best OS tip you have had which has saved you money??
mine are -
*use star drops
*if you have mince in you can cook anything
* get an airer
* prepare in dvance
would love to share some of other peoples!!!
The one that helped me the most was:
Do a meal plan (i.e. a "timetable" of meals for the coming week), and use that to generate the shopping list.
Choose the meals in the plan to use up what you already have in the house where possible.0 -
Chop peppers (green, yellow, red etc) all in one go and chuck straight into a tub/bag in the freezer - when you need a handful for a curry, casserole etc just use straight from the freezer.[size=-2]Remember its nice to be nice and its good to share!
