Use the water you strain off your vegetables to make your gravy with. Saves heating yet more water and stops all those vitamins and minerals from being poured the drain.Life's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0

Take some cheap talcum powder to the beach. Sprinkle over sandy feet- wet sand just brushes off. Also for kids swimming - no more struggling to get socks on damp feet etc.0

You can put all your holiday emergency things like plasters, antiseptic wipes, paracetamol and sewing kit into a see-through pencil case, this is small enough to be taken out with you every day in a hold all0

When you have finished with your real Christmas tree, trim the sides a little then use it as a support for peas or beans, you just need to sink it in a hole about 4 inches deep0

When you have boiled eggs put the water to one side and allow to cool down. Can be used to water your pot plants - it has great nutrients in it apparently.Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

If you use cleansing wipes cut them in half (half is plenty) BUT then before you throw them away use them to give your bathroom basin a quick wipe0
