I must say that I'm normally pretty relaxed about other people coming into our house, i.e. builders, plumbers etc. I've got better things to be doing with my time than standing over somebody making sure they're not nicking things. The vast majority of people are very trustworthy.


Of course, this may well backfire on me one day, but I've been lucky so far!

That sounds like heaven, we have a few clients that like to stand over and watch what we are doing, nothing worse :eek: Unless you count the old school clients that think I have tagged along for a cup of tea and will not be doing any work :rotfl::rotfl:

Quite funny, one client that OH went to on his own the other day left him to it, came back and asked where the cable were because he is very adept at hiding them, previously they were hanging down from the ceiling etc. He said he would have to watch next time :eek:

It would make me feel awkward if someone was watching me whilst I was getting on with my job. I'd rather they could just concentrate and get on with whatever it is they're doing. I can work from home if I need to so I can just get on with my work, and pop down at regular intervals obviously to check if they need their mugs topping up .

I thought the exact same thing. If DH empties the dish washer he leaves everything bar mugs and cutlery on the work top because he doesn't know where anything goes :eek: we've only lived here for 18 years :rotfl:

Thank you, Dave, for this. I'm in Wales for some of this time so perhaps will be able to use it a bit more as my local area has very little. But I agree, it was disappointing last year and the map was terrible. I wrote to tell them that the year before...

I came on here to say that I have had one of the Morries' emails about spending £40 in store and getting 4000 points. Don't forget that you can buy Amazon vouchers for it to work. This doesn't work on the till splits with the same offer.

Looks like you’re right.
I used a subway account that only had 50 points on (so 250).
Bought meatball snack, and they just came off as normal.

I did actually try the nachos yesterday - not impressed!
