Needles to say our store had none, not a single clip or hair accessory
These would have been perfect in the Christmas shoe boxes and the brown hair elastic thingies that were in another pic would have been useful - no idea what happens to mine.
I had a hair cut last March which was a lot more drastic then I originally intended and my hair has not grown since
Its just about long enough to put into a scrappy pony tail now - all through that long hot summer, now a distant memory, it was sticking to the back of my neck, too short to tie up.
On the plus side though I did get one item, a dry shampoo brush for even distribution of dry shampoo for 60p :T
barcode 06747008
I handed over my NUS card but nothing additional came off - is there a minimal spend?
I got 12p off a 90p purchase the other day.
Only one left otherwise I would have got extra for eldest child and also a good size brush for Christmas shoe boxes.
Tomorrow though I have to go and pick up the Quidco orders from Wilko (yes already, only did them yesterday)- more cat food.
There is a bigger Superdrug next door so I will go and have another look.
And a search for a possible mythical Holland & Barret“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Tesco everyday value diet lemonade 14p.
Thank you. Even lower price at the competition then?
Still says 17p on t.com - is this 2L? A's SP Lemonade went unavailable online and still is, so I feel better about that as it wouldn't have mattered even if there were an APG.
It seems :oI am the only one still stuck on A - everyone else has moved on from the topic and is looking elsewhere. I still have vouchers to spend through the month though so I haven't left yet - I think that's now £5.78 down today, £70.68 to go.
I've had to explain to someone at home that they are not to use up items I have bought before as almost everything we've been buying has now increased in price for us, except for the items we've bought today and I don't want them using up either as I don't want to be having to buy any of them again soon.
I'm back from what now, for me, is generally expensive Asda. I'd mention an item I've bought but it's only a tempting thing that you don't need and I'm only acting as an advertisement mouthpiece for A - fwiw I got an Extra Special Fudge Cake on £1.50 rollback, on the basis that it was cheaper than the Cadbury Swiss Gateau that goes to £2 and also says it is 6 servings and is about the same price as the frozen Chocolate Fudge cakes that are usually more expensive elsewhere anyway. In store, the "Extra Special" Chocolate Fudge seems very small however:( and I'll be lucky to get 4 slices out of it - I don't know who would have the discipline to eat only 1/6th of a cake that's not very big for me and I think I'd still be starving if I only ate that little.
I saw one perfectly new receipt in a trolley that I would previously have taken and there was another one too. I am not tormented by them but I left them behind. It'll take me a while to be able to ignore things I've not been ignoring for the past five years. I found I was now still, for a split second whilst walking back across the car park, glancing down to look where receipts might be although not going to the length of walking towards them and picking any of them up. My days as a paid-for litter picker for A are over. Unless they bring it back in a similar receipt checking form - I too haven't deleted anything yet or thrown out my log in details, just in case. (At least they have done it in a way that doesn't waste our time - so that, instead of having a cut-off point whereby shops done before 4th October were still valid for example, now all receipts are unable to be checked. We therefore aren't spending time looking through many receipts we'd now see, most of them too new, to see if any of them are from shops done early enough - instead it's a simple matter of leaving them all and Asda have saved our time.)
So now Asda - if we're not 10% cheaper, tough:p.
In fairness though, it could be said of all the other supermarkets, none of whom ever offered what Asda did, all along and still now that if we've not 10% cheaper, tough.0 -

Just remembered, I've also got the matching Yardley Rose bodysprays from an A glitch.
Somewhere :rotfl:
Don't mention any matching stuff, as nothing compares anymore. There is nothing to match to anything else. You're free to mention previous long-ago glitch items now: when people were doing so in the dying days, I was thinking they were new glitches that were on right then:rotfl:.
I have possibly got my receipt somewhere that goes to a voucher for 39p. I shan't push myself out to look for it. I forgot to do a comparison against Waitrose and, of course, thought about one again at ten to nine on the night of closure. Fortunately it didn't matter as there was nothing worth comparing - and nothing worth buying from Waitrose now:rotfl: I thought earlier about using A's Lime Juice as a filler but then thought what's the point as I can just buy that by its own later anyway.0 -
Whilst holding/massaging Harriet's front paw as she was sleeping this afternoon, I noticed one of her paw pads was like a flap. I rushed her to the vet thinking she may need stitches
Upon examining her, the Vet said it was nothing to worry about, it was a piece of sticky poop she had stepped on. Embarrassing or what?Fighting Recurring Cancer0 -
No stock left in my H&B this afternoon  - google maps seems to think there is one in the next town ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0

I would not be happy with that.
I would be sending Mr T a tweet with a pic
Or give them a ring :-). I've rung them before when I've not been happy with something and they pick up really quickly. The last thing was a few months ago when I bought a pack of flat peaches. Every single one went moudly, before the best before date, and I hadn't even opened the packet. I called them up and they sent me a £5 gift voucher by email.0 -
Live code probably as is usual with 02 for there anyway. Cafe Nero accept screen shots on an iPhone so I presume they do on other phones. Wuntu you can save the deals with pics
Thanks Emerald :-). I've been using Wuntu for a while and you can always 'use now' and it stays active so you can actually use it later. I know that the O2 offers only have 15 minutes once you press 'use now' so I just wasn't sure if you could screenshot. I'll play it safe and hold off. That's good to know that Cafe Nero accept screen shots though.0 -
