    Morning all :)

I didn't manage to post yesterday but I did pick up one final womble earlier in the week which yielded the princely sum of 48p.
Off for an eye test this morning, part of the annual autumn maintenance schedule.

Hopefully this year the 1stop and other stores will be back in the promotion. Last year was disappointing compared to previous years and the map was equally useless!

10p for me, along with a rather irrelevant draw.
Who will sign up for this....:rotfl:

Waitrose is to test a delivery service which will allow drivers to enter a customer's home while they are out, and put their groceries away.

The trial uses smart lock technology to allow customers to set an access code for their door lock which is deleted when the delivery is complete.

The pilot starting later this month will involve 100 homes in south London.

Profit margins on home deliveries are thin, and one analyst said the aim was to boost loyalty and profitability.

I can see a lot of the richer part of society taking full advantage of this. We often go to large houses to sort out IT or telecom issues, and the owners will generally leave us to it, we are in this massive house with all sorts around and they go out to a meeting  Obviously, we would never dream of doing anything nefarious, but it really does amaze me sometimes. If they are willing to leave people in the house that they have never met before, then I am pretty sure they will be willing to let a delivery boy in, I guess they have contact points for both if it comes to that.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
