I've been caught out by COS too. Yesterday there was definitely a free Fage split pot showing, but when I got home to snap the receipt it had disappeared from the app. I've emailed them to ask about it. At the very least I'll be able to get the 50p back which is still on there, but it'd be annoying as that'd mean still paying 50p and I've got a fridge full of yoghurts!!
This is happening too often - it needs to be reliable or people will stop using it, which would be sad as it has been such a good app with excellent deals.

Rebecca had me awake half the night last night, whining, from about 5am onwards. I think she was just hungry as her stomach was making loads of noises so kept her half her tea for bed time, hoping I can get a good nights sleep as been shattered today.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I had problems yesterday, my receipt upload kept failing. I had to delete and reinstall the app to get it working, finally got the accepted message. But it didn't show under receipt activity, I left it and looked again today and now it's showing 3 times. So out of the dozens of times I tried and it said failed 2 must have actually worked. :sighs:
Not sure what will happen now, whether they all might reject.0 -
I notice Dairy Box now showing £6 on m.com and 360g Milk Tray showing £3. So, it seems I got the correct price on both from my stores:j:rotfl:. (I had Dairy Box at £6 everywhere:( and I got this sizeof Milk Tray only just at £3 "lowest price I found on a tied result", but I probably didn't use as many stores as the price collectors.)
Meanwhile, it may be a good opportunity for me to mention at this point that the Extra Tasty Chicken was back at £4 in M on Wednesday. May still need some time for the update to happen - unless I know prices are already on Wednesday, I assume they are still on Monday until sometime on Friday evening to be on the cautious side (I think we did see one week where they were still on Monday into part of Saturday). If I'm buying now, I wouldn't buy expired items, expecting the prices to be already updated to Wednesday, but I also wouldn't buy new items yet, expecting the prices still to be on Monday. So, I'm at this period right now where, if I were buying anything, I'd buy only what stayed the same on both Monday and Wednesday (if I knew what that was!) and, if wanting to get Monday prices on expired in M items, I'd have shopped two days ago (late on Wednesday night usually after discovering the price in M had expired - except not this week as I didn't do Monday - and probably/possibly won't do Monday next week either as I now see there is a lot to update) and, if I wanted to get Wednesday prices, on items that may have started on that day, I'd still be waiting until at least Friday night and, by the way things may go nowadays, even until late on Saturday just to (try to) ensure the prices are on Wednesday (unless I see something earlier, usually from a womble, that tells me that prices have already changed to Wednesday).
I will try to cross out the expired items soon, so you can then see what remains. However, on a price collection like this, with lots of new items on and old items expired, with them all found in different places across different pages, I can't guarantee that my initial first set of crossing out will cross out all items known (or at least thought) to have expired as I might miss the odd ones here and there and only pick them up when I reach the items in amongst all my information. At the end of this update, this could, again, take until early next week. The first set of crossing out expired items, when done hopefully within the next day, should set things to being fairly in date though and then mainly leaving the new items to be added - hopefully only leaving new items to be added but I may miss the odd expired item, until I reach it in my written-down information, as it can sometimes be fiddly as to what has expired and what is new and, whilst I endeavour to remember all that has expired and, if I don't do so, I always come very close to doing so, there may be the odd expired item that sits in my pages of information until I reach it a few days later and then cross it out. If you see something you know has expired but, after about a day from now, is still on the list not crossed out, I am very probably aware of it (at least through noting it down in my information although not consciously when I did the hopefully soon to be forthcoming crossing out) and it will be crossed out when I reach it.
In short, I always try my best - I can't guarantee that I will remember everything, although I do have a good/excellent memory. If I don't remember the odd expired item here and there, it will be 'expired' on the list when I come across it in my pages of info.
I think the Milk Tray/Dairy Box situation now makes sense and may be the prioritisation of changing the SELs on items that have gone up in price, as the unfair trading regulations, in this part, are about not advertising prices that are lower than in fact they are.0
