The worst Christmas present I’ve ever received?
Hmmm there’s been a few - but one of worst was a broken drum given to me by my Uncle Ted. He gave it to me saying “here, try beating that” :o

    Hehe

I once had a pack of Soreen given in a Secret Santa.

The good news was that it was in date;)

Yes but mix flour with water first and stir it up before you add to sauce otherwise flour will go lumpy if you just stir it in sauce ;)

Presumably it goes funny when a leap year jumps it from Saturday to Monday? That happened in 2012.

Yes it has to be the leap year coinciding with a weekend....but I’ve loved it. I think it’s the first year that I’ve been totally organised. Work gets in the way sometimes:o

Well I made it to Lidl early to find out obviously that I couldn’t put my shop through until 10. They didn’t sell bean sprouts. I asked 3 different assistants but the answer was still no:o We were told to put our baskets on the belt in an orderly fashion. I was fourth:)

The lady behind me was clearly trying to invoke the Dunkirk spirt by being overly jolly.....I just kept thinking about all the jobs I could be getting on with at home:o

The good news is that DD is off to Newcastle to eat filled Yorkshire puddings in a teepee and will call in at the Asian Supermarket up there to get the bean sprouts :)

My legs are aching but I’m having such a good time:) Even better now I know I don’t have to face the shops:D
