Going to DB house this afternoon for early christmas opening of some pressies. DN is 8. Only child in our family at the moment.
That will change next March when my DS has her baby . All really looking forward to that as she had 6 miscarriages in the past 3 years before this sucessful one, so all praying hard etc. and so far all going well.
Tomorrow all round another DSis for Christmas dinner. Will be very strange as first one without mum :A

Just off for a walk with the dog which happens to go by a Londis. So will pop in there and hopefully get the free lager :D

    Merry Christmas everyone :T:T

Aldi carrots, parsnips, Brussels, swedes and broccoli all now 9p per pack but those dated 25th 50% off so 4p per pack! And Maris Piper's 28p a pack.

Not in ours - but then they didn't seem to have that many left.

    Morning all.
Lovely to see BB popping in.

Tweets, I have just had a brainwave for your mums next birthday/xmas pressie. Buy her one of those google things that turns music on for you and does other things, you can ask it questions.
mum: Alexa, what time is dinner. etc.

I had goose last year, was pleasantly suprised.

    :rotfl:

Do you need internet for that. If yes thanks but sorry no internet in mums :(

I still have very twitchy feet but I've been everywhere so no-where to go :)

Went to Morrisons today to get 3 veg for £1 - Ok not the cheapest but very happy with 2.5kg of marie piper, fat carrots and brussels
Also got thick bacon for the bacon baps and a french stick and that was it - concerntrating so hard on the list it never entered my head to get the maltsmiths
Then to Marks to get a turkey crown joint for when the gang arrives in a few days - very little chance of me getting a yellow label one but at least I have something - paid for with an android pay £5 and a credit voucher :D
Then to Marks to do a return and to get a few bits - got reduced custard tarts for Oh and a reduced pasta bake - thst was about it.

I have 2 books to wrap but no wrapping paper left - hopefully I can get some reduced on boxing day otherwise its going to be brown paper

no problem parking anywhere or getting through tills or SS - all very calm and low key

 I am still using wrapping paper from about 4 or more year ago when it was 5p a roll in Asda :money:
