I dont envy you going through New Street - since the remodelling I really hate it. WE change trains in Stafford (or even Wolverhampton) if need be rather than go through New Street :)

:D:D train door was exactly by escalator up :T then we emerged onto the right exit
    :j
crossed road into Moor St and caught 12.55 :D

Bakerloo line to Waterloo, hopefully quiet as shops still open ....

I'm using Chiltern railways wifi and plug socket :D

  • The worst Christmas present I’ve ever received?
Hmmm there’s been a few - but one of worst was a broken drum given to me by my Uncle Ted. He gave it to me saying “here, try beating that” :o

Aldi carrots, parsnips, Brussels, swedes and broccoli all now 9p per pack but those dated 25th 50% off so 4p per pack! And Maris Piper's 28p a pack.

They won't be able to sell them on 25th, so any BB 25th will be knocked down today:). Wish I had thought of this simple, obvious thing earlier:o:doh: - feels like I was robbed last time at 19p a pack:eek:!

EDIT: In fact 26th December BB should also be the same today, as it seems Aldi have also decided to close on 26th. A similar situation should apply later for 1st January when it seems all their stores are also closed.

Is that in the same way that Prince Harry has Stawberry blonde hair?
Stawberry blonde, always confused me that one. Or Mediterranean sunset...strange name for a hair colour.

No dark blonde is just that and light blonde is what I have now.

The Royal Family also open presents today so you are in good company - its a German tradition to have Christmas on Christmas Eve
Going to DB house this afternoon for early christmas opening of some pressies. DN is 8. Only child in our family at the moment.
That will change next March when my DS has her baby . All really looking forward to that as she had 6 miscarriages in the past 3 years before this sucessful one, so all praying hard etc. and so far all going well.
Tomorrow all round another DSis for Christmas dinner. Will be very strange as first one without mum :A

Just off for a walk with the dog which happens to go by a Londis. So will pop in there and hopefully get the free lager :D

    Merry Christmas everyone :T:T
