thank you for popping my target on sue-uu. going to give it a good old go that's for sure.
think it will be more manageable if I get one for Jack. Gave him £8 to.pop in the pot this morning and the wee toe rag tried to pop it into a tiny piggy bank of his. I let him keep £1 of it.
top up shop done tonight and so just about to sneak in another £3.21p

Potter number 100 reporting late for duty, I've just declared in the other thread. I'm going to be doing the sealed pot and the virtual overtime fund again this year,I'll bank my over time and declare monthly in my sig and that is to be the new kitchen funds but the sealed pot will be the Christmas fund and I'll just put in what I can aiming for £500 but more would be nice.
Thank you so much Sue-UU and everyone else in this thread.SPC~12 ot 124

Hoping to save enough to pay for the car insurance and Christmas 2018!

get_me_outta_this_mess - you can as obsessive as you wish with all your saving, it's never a bad fault and will so good for you!!! :j All the very best with your saving for next Christmas, the car insurance too!!
Many thanks again 32b3, you really are a gem! :A
Hello folks, well it's the first day of a new week, a fresh start for many maybe. Any promises re savings we've all made we sould do our very best to keep! Keep popping onto SPC 11 SPCers and getting motivated and help motivate the rest of us - it truly does work both ways!!
To all those SPC members who aren't well or who are low in any way, here are some {{{{hugs}}}} to help you through and get you well soon. :grinheart
So you’ll be very happy with that cash in starting you off then, jakes-mum! Doesn’t it sound so very empty with that horrible thud when it hits the bottom of the pots, still it won’t be long before the tinkle returns!! :dance:To anyone in two minds about joining this year's challenge PLEASE JOIN. It's a great way to save and the more people that join the more mutual encouragement here is
Oh you poor love Ant, what’s the faff about banking it? I find it quite a relief that it’s in safe hands (I sincerely hope) once again!
I thoroughly agree with your last paragraph as it is true, and you’re one of the main encouragers! Well spotted and potted with that 5p, keep an eye out for anything shiny! So good to hear you’re already looking ahead to ways you’ll soon be saving!!!!
An excellent beginning, motivated!!!! A £5er is a great amount to have potted!!!!!
An excellent Target Vicky and it’s already set for you, you came so close to it with SPC 10 so I bet you CAN AND WILL DO IT!!!!!! :j A good start is already made!!
Brilliant potting TeaRex and yes, you still have the same No!!!I wholeheartedly agree with Vicky, fantastic work has been made with your debt - congratulations to you!!!!! :T:j:T Fingers crossed for you becoming debt-free by next Christmas AND for getting a reasonably priced place of your own!
Well at least you’re honest, seekingthesunlight. Come and have a natter here with us regularly so you keep motivated, it really does help!!!!! Well, your Target is set now so all the very best in achieving it... or surpassing it, you never know!!!!!
There’s one answer to all that, Saver-upper - bank some now and again!!! Most of us do. Lynne is another whose a high-flyer BUT she too banks hers every so often. Seriously, can you really imagine jakes-mum leaving all that cash in the house when going shopping or on holiday????!!!!!!!! NEVER!!!
I love you all too, Saver-upper, that’s why it’s so hard to let go! You’re too kind though as I’m really not that good, but I love trying to spur everyone on to get the most possible for themselves!
Ahhh bless your Jack, Hicksy, you really can’t blame him for trying to be a top saver!!! :money: Little rascal! :rotfl: Oliver is doing wonderfully well, they came round last night and it was a toss up between SPC and cuddling Oliver - no contest folks!!!!
Though I see your point mrs-moneypenny, there are other SPC members who pot their OT money, so why not you too?! Go on! :j
Very well done Curly, your DH too bless him!
Brilliant saving owlet, though I take your point about being careful with Christmas just around the corner!!
Good for you in potting something every day and not counting it, mummytummy, where possible we should all be doing the same!!!Sue xx

Hi sue you asked about the overtime money I'm saving and if I've got enough yet for the kitchen, some of last years o/t money didn't go in the pot as that paid for a new boiler and you may remember my daughters wedding so some went to her dress fund instead of in my sealed pot so that means I could probably have saved more but I didn't miss what I spent either as it was like a seperate pot that got opened for the dress purchases. The kitchen is planned for 2019 so I should have built up enough for it then with the o/t fund. I'll put my monthly o/t amount in my sig as I bank it but the sealing pot gets fed as and when so I never know what that holds till I empty it.
Can't wait to see the total declare as I'm sure it will be amazing!SPC~12 ot 124
