Hi Sue-Uu and all
Would you mind if I tag along. I have a tin at the ready and am rearing to go. I don’t really have a target I would like to see how I go with it and how much I end up with

Well he has intimated that he will be returning to the theatre some time next year so I'll need to get saving. And the problem with missing him at the Convention last week means that's twice he's evaded me at events, meaning I've got to have a 3rd time lucky! Hubby thought the thing I went to last year was the same thing as this year, and automatically said he supposed I was going next year so it's kind of pencilled in already :rotfl:SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

As my plan is to contribute anything 50p and over into my pot as well as £2s this year, while other shrapnel goes into the household giant Coke bottle, I started tonight with £6.50 in £1s and 50s.SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

Good morning
Count me in for this year please #574 with a target of £500
It's less than I saved for SPC10 but, I had a little help from my brother and I am planning on trying for a very frugal year this year. One part of which is to do any spending on credit card and save the 'points' vouchers for Christmas. It worked really well this year: mum joined in as well and we've got more than enough vouchers for all the festive food and more.
On a plus note saving £5 notes is now a total habit, so maybe a whole years worth of those will counteract the dip due to frugalness.
Good luck everyone and thanks SueUU for continuing as chief motivator!

Oops totally forgot to mention £39.30 of shrapnel left in pig from SPC10 that didn't make full bags (following Siju) and using as starter pot for this year. And £15 in fivers safely potted too.
Lastly and most importantly: 1/11/2018 in the diary with 2 reminders set, so I remember to declare on time.
