I haven't done the count yet - but not too hopeful. Never mind - it's a start and hopefully next year will be better!

Hoping to carry on potting ALL year this time.

I haven't got my pot yet, still deciding what style to go for. The sealed £land one was great for not being able to open it (I would have been temped if I could) but when I did need to open it, it was not easy! Maybe I will treat myself to a hacksaw as well as new pot.

I have joined the grocery challenge thread, any saving I make from my budget on that will be going into the pot.

Yes, you're in Jellyb, everyone is transferred over quite easily so you're almost ready to SAVE!

Whatever the amount you've managed is still money that hasn't been spent, you're saving and that in itself is marvellous! Make a determined affort this time round to put whatever you're able to in your pot and just keep adding to it.

Time to rush on over to SPC 10 now and declare however much you managed to save. Be proud of yourself whatever it is!!!

That's exactly the way to save iammumtoone! Save in as many similar ways to that and you'll be netting yourself a fair sum!

Have a good look round before wasting cash on a pot that isn't going to open easily - and don't waste your cash on a hacksaw! All the best!!!

Evening Pottersssssssssssss

DH had his pub night last night and brought me home some lovely change for my pots, just shy of £5 Then my mum paid me back today for some shopping and gave me a £1 coin and my very first £2 coin! So all my pots are now officially up and running

Found my first roadkill for ages yesterday - 5p which I potted. Got over £400 of SPC10 banked, and still quite a bit to go. I wonder if anyone else finds the banking of it a bit of a faff. Talk about First World problems!
Will bank some more tomorrow as I have time off and live very close to High Street Banks.
Lucky to be making some travel cost savings next week so will pot those as well. Trying to get off to a flying start because I know I will start to flag after a while.
To anyone in two minds about joining this year's challenge PLEASE JOIN. It's a great way to save and the more people that join the more mutual encouragement here is
