    Hi,

It's by chance I've come across this thread, it's a fantastic idea. I would like to join please :j. I usually have coins left over but end up spending it on silly little things or give it to the kids to put it in their money box. ;)

I'll have two pots, one sealed and a seprate holding pot for trip money or tuck shop money for the kids which they sometimes ask me for.

Good afternoon all Potters, have a really good Wednesday, chilly but sunny. Keep popping onto SPC 11 SPCers as it makes such a huge difference to us all having other members spurring us on!!
To all those our members who aren't well or who are low in any way at all, here are some {{{{hugs}}}} to help you through and get you well soon! :grinheart

Very well potted, 32b3!!!! Not long to go before you're jetting off!!! :j
Haha nice try Helsbell, but i haven't started putting anything in my jar yet (if you asked me at the end of this week i would be sweating though!)

No doubt there’s a fat chance of that happening, helsbell, or at least you’ve got a struggle in doing so! Thanks so much for getting back to me so swiftly so I can sort it out just as quickly! Very many thanks for helping out with the No lark, helsbell.

Ah, good to see you back too, get-me-outta-this-mess, at least I know fully that everything is as it should be. Your No is 592!

It's great to see friendly banter between you two!!! :rotfl:

Oh dear jakes-mum, I had a right chuckle at that all rebounding on you, so unlike you to let the family get one up on you!!!!! :rotfl:I’m pleased to hear your DH’s Uncle is all sorted now, it makes a huge difference.
Well done in finishing your Mum’s cardi, though I don’t envy you having to have frogged it a few times:  The first time I’ve ever done that with success was when knitting a PomPom blanket for our DGD’s baby Son a couple of months ago. Don’t worry you won’t forget to tell us you’ve given it to your Mum, I’ll keep on at you! :naughty:

I don’t want to jinx it for you either Helen, so I won’t say too much even though it’s amazing news, but fantastic news about the £8!!!!! :T Excellent news about having emergency funds too, you’re right, you are getting in control of it all now!! :money:Keep up the terrific work!!!
BTW. Another gold star is yours for the perfect welcome you gave!! :staradmin

Excellent news in your last post mrs-moneypenny! Great potting that’ll give you!!!! :j

Now there’s a cracking amount just asking to be potted, Emily!!!! Keep up the brilliant work!
    Sue xx

  • Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that i am here but i'm struggling with time at the moment. I am going to try so hard to get home early enough to count the rest of my money tonight. I am so very happy with how much i have saved this year.

I need to try and get on this thread more this year but i have been struggling to keep up with the threads. I don't want to just post and run.

Have been potting away, probably won't be around very much over the next month or two (lots of deadlines coming up) but I will be potting in the meantime. I realised yesterday that I potted the wrong amount for an eBay sale, silly me forgot to deduct the postage! Not that I'm complaining as it will all add up when I open up my tin next year.

I'm trying to keep change in a holding pot and then change it for notes once there is enough in there, should save me lots of counting time next November!

  • Thanks for my Star Sue...I'll go and add it in a sec after I've Posted this.... :)

Today is a down day....but tomorrow could well be an "Up" day so I'll just get through today and then await a better time after I wake up tomorrow morning.... :D

I Potted my £8 and managed to find some more to Pot but wanted it in Gold so I've given my Grandma 5 x 20p's and asked her to give me a £1 Coin tomorrow....so that's me up to £15 in Gold and Paper and some Silver on top of that...and we're only in the first Week...so I'm really pleased with that!! :D:D:D

Anyway...that's me sorted for the time being....hopefully can pot a little more tomorrow....*Hugs* to anyone that needs them...I'll take a couple back in return if that's okay for the way I feel today... xXx :)
