Okay so I counted all the pennies in all my jars and the total came to £31.70
and I decided to use my spare change to save for a house deposit until my wedding and emergency funds are at a sustainable amount.
I wasn't going to save for a house deposit just yet but felt like I'd only be pushing us back if I saved nothing at all.
Total is £41.440 -

Good evening everyone! :hello:
£2 worth of silver coins potted, which is very exciting! The sound as they clinked into the pot was very satisfying. Also another £11.09 left over from what I didn't spend over the last month (payday tomorrow, so it all starts again!).
No other potting until Friday, I imagine.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -

I'm putting all saving money into my/our emergency fund.
Having trouble to juggle all my saving goals & wants and decided to take it a step a time by saving up for one thing at a time.
Also, not paying £500.00 for a bit of paper to say we're officially a couple. (yet) :rotfl:0 -
Hi potters!
£7.26 potted today

The OH gave me a 50p to pot yesterday (he's slowly coming on board!) but I realised it was an Olympic boxing one so it had to go into the "special money" pot instead so no actual potting news from me
but my special coins are looking lovely

Please can I play?
I bought a pot a couple of weeks ago and have committed to putting any coins in my purse under 50p each day in the pot. No idea what that will equate to in savings but hope it'll all mount up for Christmas

Evening all Potters! I hope you’re having a really good week, even with the weather as it is!!!
For those members who are unwell or who are low for any reason, I hope you’re soon feeling very much better or that your low point rises to a high promptly! For now here are some {{{{hugs}}} to help. :grinheartdustydigger wrote: »Hi Sue! Just popped in to say how much I appreciate your update posts with such kind and encouraging words for everybody. Really a boost to me and the group too,I'm sure.
I am really enjoying the whole ambience of MSE.

Thanks so very much for your lovely words, dustydigger. We do our very best to be as encouraging to each other as possible and really make the best of our beloved SPC! I think we also respect each other, be a listening ear for each other too. Mostly we’ve become a family which is wonderful!
BTW. Very well done on what turned out to be fantastic potting, dustydigger!!! All the best for as good an amount next time, but never worry if you’re unable to.
Brilliant news about your lovely day shopping 32b3! I’m so pleased it wasn’t too cold for you! £5.35 + in the pot has to be darned good work too!!!! :j
How mean some parents are not to bother taking their kiddies to parties, jakes-mum, after all how many young’ns are there that aren’t delighted to get invites!!! Maddening to say the very least. :mad:SueUU -- You're right, it always seems worse when it's the little one's, my DD is upset but I've told her she's seen how little epilepsy affects my life (fortunatley it's well conrolled now after a hiccup last year) I can't drive obviously but it does come in useful at noisy discos at parties, "I can't sit in there with the strobe lighting" is my accepted excuse!!!!!
I do empathise with your DD, Lucy, it must be awful to have to watch helplessly when your little treasure is having a seizure. I’m so pleased yours is under control, maybe one day you’ll be able to drive again and have your independence! For now I agree, it’s at least an excuse to keep away from that terrible strobe lighting; I often have a job watching Strictly because of what they do with the lights!!! :mad:All the very best to you and your little darling.
A brilliant amount 2674644!!! Given that it’s all come from coppers it’s a great sum saved!
You save whichever way you’re happiest with and be proud of it!!
Oh Vicky, I can just imagine you almost jumping up and down with sheer delight as you listened to the clinking of all those coins tipping into your pot!!!! Excellent potting!!!! So now we await Friday!!
Good for you Chutney....
... you too Emily, very well done!!!
Fantastic work from your OH, DancingUnicorn!!!! :j So tell me did he know just what he was “giving away”?! Whatever, I’m glad he didn’t keep it to himself unnoticed!! :TEnjoy your Wedesday evening, folks Thursday too. ..and keep potting!!!Sue xx1st November is the opening date for 2018.
