    I just found an old tin / pot from last year and result! it had £24 in £ coins in it! So I have finally started my 2018 pot with that and added all the £1 coins from my handbag... a nice £34 to start off with... i will start another more shrapnel based pot too... all money saved will be for Christmas 2018...

    Well DS and DD both decided to [STRIKE]frivolously waste[/STRIKE] budget some of their money to buy [STRIKE]rubbish virtual carp[/STRIKE] very important upgrades for their online game and convinced muggins here to use her card to do so. They then gave me the cash back and as I didn't really need it, I chucked it all in the pot :D so a lovely £30 in notes gone in (before you all go :eek: how much!! £15 of that was also from a reduced lego set I got DD that she paid me back for as well, box was damaged, was originally £40! :eek: )

    DH also swapped me £4 odd for a £5 note (grrr, I much prefer it when the swap goes in MY favour) . . thinking about it I haven't given him the fiver yet :rotfl:

    And finally I emptied my purse of all gold and silver apart from 2 x £1 coins for my shopping trolley which DS subsequently robbed off me as he started his new job this weekend and as they are in a small office while the builders finish building the store I thought i'd better give him a couple of quid for a drink etc.

    So lots of pennies in my pots, but still sooooo muchhhh rooooooom! must get more change!

    My MSE has been playing up a lot lately. I’ve had my subscribed threads deleted and had to search for them all again :mad:
