Hello Sealed Potters! I hope you’re enjoying a lovely weekend, whatever the weather!
For those members who are unwell or who are low for any reason, I hope you’re soon feeling very much better or that your low point rises to a high promptly! For now here are some {{{{hugs}}} to help. :grinheart

You’re quite welcome to the star, Emily, it certainly helps me a great deal. :D
Well done with the 2p! Great potting again with your latest post too, as well as the M!sons voucher!!! :j They’re a great help at times.
I know its not in the pot for Xmas, but can I share the news of all my savings for the year to this thread on November 1st?

You’re quite welcome to include the CU savings when declaring your SPC savings in November, dustydigger. Other members do similar things. That’s not a bad amount potted after your T!sco shopping, well done! :D

Young Lily’s keeping up with the times, jakes-mum, my 5 Grandchildren have all been taken out for a meal on their 10th Birthdays. :D
I can so easily remember you first joining SPC, I suppose it was the fact that you were saving for bikes for both your two that stuck. Apart from then I remember you well, though not always for the best of reasons more for the trouble you’ve been ever since!!!!!! :rotfl:BTW another post at the bottom.

Ooops - haven't posted in a while but I have been potting!
OH now on board too - he is saving mostly £2 coins and is very pleased with himself when he adds another one to the collection - we have a savings box with a 'window' so it's good to see the coins mount up. My other 'pot' is a sealed tin so that is more of a mystery.
Now the festivities and Christmas birthdays are past I would like to get back on track!

Hello again Jellyb, it’s good to see you back!! Did you have any savings from 2017 to declare? If you do would you pop it on this thread as SPC 10 is now closed?! It’s wonderful to know your OH has also joined in with the potting, very well done to you both, BUT please come back to us in November in future or you may well fine your No having been taken by a new member!! :)

Excellent potting Lucyhope!!! So very sorry to hear about it looking as though your Grandson has a form of epilepsy, it always seems worse when it’s kiddies, poor little darling. :( Let’s hope it’s controllable with drugs, is yours? Mine isn't!

Well done on having a holiday to look forward to, DH & I also, we’ve booked to go to the Highlands in May and so looking forward to it!!!! :j

That’s perfectly fine suju, I’d far sooner you PM me than not have a clue where we were. I’m hoping everything‘s all right now and that those who have nothing better to do have buzzed off!!!!
It’s good to know you were missing us though, likewise for us all too as we soon notice when friends are missing! :(
Brilliant potting by the way and here's hoping you too are having a wonderful weekend!!!

Happy though very belated Birthday wishes to you Lynne!!!! :grinheartI hope you had a lovely day with your DH. Very wise not to have risked the awful weather, it’s never worth it!
    Fantastic potting BTW!!!!!

I’m pleased you managed to seek us out also, seekingthesunlight, especially with the great amount potted!!! :D

Good potting for you also, 32b3!!!! No snow down here either but plenty of the bitter cold weather! A bit late I know but I hope you had a good day shopping at the seaside! :dance:At least if it’s cold, going in and out of shops we don’t notice it anywhere near as much! More wonderful savings too!!! :j

Another one who’s managed to track us down again then, Babs 103! I’m glad you did too or we’d have missed your cash!!! ;) Very well done, and don’t worry about offending us all by calling us “potty people”....after all we are - and are proud to be :grinheart

It’s good to hear you’re slowly building up, NannyG, and I really hope your future C!op is as a accommodating as your last!! :D

    Great potting 166million!!!

Many congratulations on your lottery win Vicky!!!!! :j:TWhich Lottery do you do? DH & I stopped doing the main one as it was getting us nowhere. Good for your Hubby!!! ;)

A very admirable way to save and have NSDs too, Florence!! :dance:I also admire those that purposely walk to the shops or work and save the money instead! Whether you need the exercise or not... you’re still saving precious cash and NOT giving it over to bus companies!! :D Not that I’m slating them, they’re marvellous for those who have a job to get to work, or if folk live a long way from towns, but if you’re able to walk, why not keep hold of your money!!! :jWell done Florence!!

Fantastic potting Iheart!! :j Don’t worry too much about trying not remembering what you pot as the chances of doing so are pretty slim as the weeks turn into months etc. ;)

Sue-uu can you switched my old account 201 adventureofmemories to this one please?
I'm starting my funds again, I haven't used the money I just lost count of how much i have in my wedding fund as everything was on my phone which is being fixed so did a factory reset and lost my stats for the fund but didn't have much on there anyway.

That’s ok 2674644, I’ve renamed you. Good luck with your way of saving! :D

Well done on treating your pot and bottle to some good food fodder, MrsShazbat!!! ;)

Good to see you Antomac, and good for you in potting what you would otherwise have spent on travel money!!! :D

Some really great potting there, jakes-mum!!! :j I’m delighted DD’s Birthday was such an amazing time for you all!! Such a shame 2 didn’t show but I suppose that might be the parents fault rather than the children! :(I’ve never heard of a “pay per space” party before but then I’m never surprised at anything that happens in your house!!! :rotfl:

It’s a real shame you’re not enjoying your present way of potting, DancingUnicorn, let’s hope when the 10th comes we’ll see a more content DancingUnicorn! :D Still you’ve saved a good amount and paid back your IOU, so a lot to be proud of!!!
Enjoy your Sunday evening, folks Monday too. ..and keep on potting!!! :D
    Sue xx

    Please can I play?

I bought a pot a couple of weeks ago and have committed to putting any coins in my purse under 50p each day in the pot. No idea what that will equate to in savings but hope it'll all mount up for Christmas

Loool Sue, my terrible terminology again, it was a bowling party so i had to pay in advance for each child that came to book the lanes. I realised afterwards the two that were no shows were also the same two that told DD they were coming rather than me getting a text from their parents, so i don't know if they even bothered to give their parents the invite or their parents just couldn't be bothered to bring them :( either way it was £15 I could have saved (or asked 2 other children to come instead as DD had others she wanted to invite but at £7.50 per child I had to have a cut off somewhere!). DD has been told that they will not be getting an invite next year, once bitten, twice shy and all that!

    I'm using a similar method.
Any change under £1 goes into wedding
Any change £1+ goes into emergency funds until I get that built up a lot

SueUU -- You're right, it always seems worse when it's the little one's, my DD is upset but I've told her she's seen how little epilepsy affects my life (fortunatley it's well conrolled now after a hiccup last year) I can't drive obviously but it does come in useful at noisy discos at parties, "I can't sit in there with the strobe lighting" is my accepted excuse!!!!!

Hi Sue! Just popped in to say how much I appreciate your update posts with such kind and encouraging words for everybody. Really a boost to me and the group too,I'm sure.
I am really enjoying the whole ambience of MSE,such a contrast to most so much social media...oh-oh better stop there, could lead to a long rant and maybe libel cases!:rotfl:
