I am celebrating 4 NSDs in a row by putting what was in my wallet in my pot.
It was only £1.88, but normally I would have spent that on getting the bus into work because I was running late, but now I am a cool cucumber who walks in (I need the exercise).Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Morning potters, was gonna say 'potty people' but that does not sound good,
I dont go out every day so have no money in my purse but I did find 3.89 when cleaning down the back of the sofa before it went to the cs so that goes in the pot, and I vow to clean more often (not)!

            Goooooood Morning pottersssssssssssssssssssss
Well it was DD's birthday party (which I was dreading! I find them very stressful) and we had an EPIC (see me getting down with the kids there :rotfl: ) time! OK 2 of the 7 children decided just to not turn up (and it was a pay per space party  ) but the rest and DD had an awesome time! I have to say it was one of the best and least stressful parties I have ever done and a load of 10 year olds are a heap of fun!
 In potting news, I somehow managed to accumulate 7 £1 coins in my purse and some shrapnel, DH came back from the uncles with a shiny £2 coin :j :j and then went to the pub and came back with a further £2 coin, 5 x £1 coins and even more shrapnel  so every last bit of it went in the pot SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £2470.95/£1000 (19) £0/£10000 SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £2470.95/£1000 (19) £0/£10000

For some reason I totally messed up my weekly spending money this pay cycle.
I also had to borrow £40 out of my pot as I’d moved my savings around and couldn’t take it from there.
I’ve paid back the £40 and have £60 left to last until 10th Feb. I’m not going to pot weekly (unless it’s loose change) as I normally do but I’m hoping I can put a chunk into the pot on payday.
I’m not enjoying doing it this way and cannot wait for the 10th so I can go back to the usual weekly allowance. Potting little and often definitely works best for me.LBM: October 2016: £20,130 / Current: May 2019: £12,576 37.53%DFD: [STRIKE]February 2024[/STRIKE] April 2022?0
