I hope you're all having a really lovely week SPCers! :hello: Let's hope this chilly weather keeps up so it helps kiddies feel more festive! :j
For those members who really aren’t well or who are low for whatever reason, take great care of yourselves, and here’s hoping these {{{{HUGS}}}} from us all will help you feel well soon. :kisses3:
I was thrilled with it too, Jo, but 32b3, jakes-mum and Lynne, others too all got way more than I did!!! Maybe you’ll be one of the big savers next year if you come on here regularly; it feeds the addiction!
Glad to have you back too. :grinheart
Thank you so much Lizzie, that was really sweet of you. It’s wonderful to hear you’re up and running well! Keep it up, you’ll never regret it for certain!
How thoughtful of your dear Nan, DancingUnicorn, bless her. You must make darned good jam at other times of the year for folk to still remember it and want it for loved ones and friends. Well done, with the savings too!!Evening potters.
Firstly we had a lovely holiday in Valencia. It's such a beautiful city and full of wonderful architecture, green parks, cafes, bars and markets. Weather not too bad for time of year, with just one day of drizzle and lots of sunshine. Bit cold at times though.
Whilst away on hols DH had a telephone call from work telling him the company had gone into administration and he was therefore redundant with immediate effect  So we have had to do quite a bit of ferreting about and filling in of forms to do with that.Lx
It’s so good to finally have you home with us, Lynne! :hello: I’m so pleased you had such a wonderful time, not bad weather either.
I bet your darling Hubby was quite shocked at the suddenness of the news about his job!! I feel so terribly sorry for him, for you both for sure as I’d imagine you too were more than a bit dumbfounded!! Please pass on my very best wishes for him to find a job he likes ASAP! Meanwhile, it's love that holds you together.
At least you have the windows done, hopefully it’ll keep you that much warmer in those Scottish winters!
Extremely well done with the £20 potted Lynne. Take care of yourselves and of each other and see you soon. xx
Many thanks 32b3, you also of course!
I’ve lost many thousands of steps lately as my Charge 2 went kaput!! I first thought it was something to do with the phone but no, ‘twas the actual Fitbit. Back to Curr!s where they gave me a new one - and as it was at a reduced price - they’ve given me another year’s guarantee which gives me 3 carefree years!!!! :j Is your new one still going well?
Brilliant work with gaining of Hubby’s terrible carelessness, Vicky!!!! :rotfl: Well done with the Rugby Cup too, almost makes it sound as though you won the 6 Nations somehow!!!! :rotfl:
C’est la vie for certain siju! It’s so difficult to be planning Christmas and enjoy yourselves whilst also having such sad events to attend. Very best wishes, and brilliant work with yet another £9+!!!!!
Fair enough jakes-mum, I just hate injustice (I’d never have made it as an executioner :rotfl:) you’re the ones that know him well certainly not me! Apart from that, I’d have caused uproar if someone had wrongly acccused me, and if he didn’t...! So does he start a full time job after Christmas?
Don’t firms make you mad with paltry excuses to cover their mistakes! I think we all have far more understanding if a person simply owns up and says “So sorry, my mistake”! Never mind j-m tis Christmas next week!!!!!!
VERY well done arc2014!! That’s a great sum this close to Christmas!!!Not many sleeps left now til Santa comes now folks!!!!! ONLY SIX!!!!! :rudolf::snow_laug:snow_grin:xmassmile:xmastree::xmassmile:snow_grin:snow_laug:rudolf:
Have a lovely Wednesday, folks! Don’t forget .... pot if you're able!
Sue xx

Evening
I’ve been to the countryside today on a work visit. It was freezing!
Apple Watch is wonderful Sue, but I do miss the daily and weekly challebpnges on the Fitbit. I got the Apple Watch because I entered the ballot to run the London marathon and obviously, having an Apple Watch would inspire me to train for it. Well.... good news, I didn’t get a place in the marathon . Win win really, I got the watch and didn’t have to run :money::beer::j

I've decided to start my saving pot from 0 and to start again in the new year from january 8th .
Im struggling with this month as i didn't get paid my wages from my new job which i would have used for Christmas (around £200) as there was a small mistake when my bank details were entered or given to my new job.
So ive had to use my normal wages and also now have a few family events and a taxi to go to my parents and back again for Christmas... my fiancee wont get a bus there as he gets panicy and his anxiety attacks kicks in on long journeys.
I need all the money i can get.
In Jan, I'm going to be more self disciplined and to work on my savings.Debt to fiancee - £404.00 (left to pay) | Save £12,000 in 2018 - £371.90 all together|2,018 items in 2018 (8/2,018)0 -

Hiya, you don’t have to rejoin, that number is yours, just check on the first page that it’s still allocated to you and get potting. If it’s been reallocated, Sue will be along to give you another number

At least you had the money in your pot to help you through to Jan adventureofmemories that’s what’s its there for really, it’s no good having savings and not being able to make sure that you can do what you need to do. Don’t forget to put what you had already potted In your signature though, so you remember at counting up time next year:beer:SPC9 #125 - £816.85
