My sincere condolences VickyA
Well i'm fuming! yet again ive had sticky fingers in my purse, and DH's wallet too  £27 this time, I cant ruddy lock our wallets in the safe so i'm at a loss how to stop it now. I was already taking my purse to bed with me each night  I am unsure if it was my original sticky fingers or one of his mates. He has two friends that I detest (and that is not a word I use lightly) and have categorically said are not to come into my house, both were in my kitchen the night the money went missing but i've told him I don't care whether it was him or his mates, he disobeyed me and its his responsibilty and he will pay us both back.
So no pennies for my pot as I didn't ruddy have any left! :mad:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £0/£10000 -

So sorry to hear that jakes-mum, you must wonder if it will ever end.
My sticky fingered relative once came here with a friend when I was out and denied being here. It was easy to prove she had been in the house, and when she said it must have been her friend that took the money, I still insisted she (relative) paid it all back (£20) and also give me back the key she had as she was no longer living here.
Not sure how you can deal when the person lives in your house/has friends round. One of my children used to dip in my purse, and I was really poor at the time and it made my life miserable.

Thank you all so much for your kind words. My grandmother had been ill for a very long time, so it was almost a relief in the end. As my father said, despite having been prepared for it for some time, it still came as a shock.
As for the journey from hell, it was apparently an "Act of God"... and the fact that Ryanair were involved in our journey. Those who had booked with Aer Lingus had much better luck and were treated like kings and queens!
£1.60 potted yesterday. Tried to find extra cash in DH's jeans pockets when I put them in the wash, but to no avail. Grrrrrrr.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 declared0 -
