    Afternoon pottersssssssssss

We have SNOW! We never get snow! and its STILL snowing! Youngest munchkin has already been out, got thoroughly wet and returned having had a snowball to the face :rotfl: Oldest munchkin went out in the weirdest get up I have ever seen . . 3 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of adidas thin jogger type trousers, 3 tshirts, a hoody and the thinnest of summer coats and some motorbike gloves  I just didn't get involved!

Youngest then got upset because she couldn't trail along after her brother and no amount of telling her that him and his mates throw hard and she would get hurt, removed the 'face' as he walked off down the road :o Was soon all forgotten at the mention of lunch though :rotfl:

I have potted nothing! nowt, zero, ziltch and wont be potting anything today either as i'm not going out in that snow for love nor money!

Well done on your PPI Mrs Shazbat! We had a letter saying we might be entitled to something on one that was originally declined due to a new rule but I think DH threw the letter as I can't find it anywhere :(

I'm now going to ramp up the heating, turn on the tree lights and tie miniature heroes to the branches as I couldn't be bothered to buy and tree choccies :rotfl: Enjoy your snow if you have any and stay safe :D

Potted another £2.50 to reach my target of £5 for the week. Then my hubby gave me another £2 in 50p's - straight into the pot taking my total to £7! :j:

Fantastic potting this week Dragon Lily, and how kind of your DH, bless him!!!!! :j An amazing week for you - and your pot!!!!

Not to worry 32b3, I knew you’d be back when you were able to. Great potting, that’s a super sum!!!!! :j

You’re very welcome Vicky. :D I couldn’t agree more about the relaxed feeling as Christmas approaches and we’re covered for it , it certainly ensures we have peace of mind - and encourages us to keep it up no matter what!!!!!!

Be sure to keep very safe and warm Potters whatever you do! Depending where you are, it either is or will be SNOWY out there, bitterly cold too!!!!

Why not try with all the cards it could have been with ETO??!!! You’ve nothing to lose in at least trying!! Here’s hoping you’re lucky!!!!
Don’t worry about having little or no cash to pot until after Christmas, it’s a very expensive time for all those who have children.

Brilliant potting DancingUnicorn, and fingers crossed that you will be able to add the £20!!!! :jIt’s entirely up to you what you do with the money you earn for the 3 days work in the New Year, but you can most certainly pot it if you wish!
I’m afraid I can’t help with the number crunching on your tax debate, too many years have gone by for me and tax rebates, good luck with someone helping you soon.

YAY!!!! Wonderful news about the sale of your old car, old Kindle too, TheCatsandDogsMother!!!!! :T:money: A brilliant start off to what you thought might not be a good year, but at least it’s money potted!!!

Great savings for you with the £50 earned Saver-upper!!! :j Not long until the big day now for presents for your youngsters!

Good to see you helsbell, the amount you’ve potted too!!!

    Well done yet again 116millon!!!

I know how much of a kid you are, jakes-mum, so I’m chuffed to bits you’ve got snow for the tiddlers! None here only way too much rain this morning, ‘orrible stuff!!
YOU’V NO MONEY TO POT???!! That’s almost a one-off for you surely?!!:eek::eek:
YAY, great potting, motivated!!!!! Nah, no snow here, but by golly we've rain galore - now if that had been SNOW!!!!!!!!!

A lovely £20 potted post shopping on Friday!! :j Not a lot more for the pot until after Christmas I don’t expect but quite happy with that.

Have a super Sunday, folks! Don’t forget - keep warm and safe.... and pot well! :j

  • I've decided to put everything I save for this challenge towards my emergency fund.
I thought that It would help me get to my goal 'quicker' instead of just depositing £100 or so each month and waiting longer.

    Today I deposited £22.25.
one £20 note, £1.80 in change from my purse and the rest is 1ps & 2ps

  • Found some bags of 1p's and 2p's today. £6.78 potted, although in their own butter box as don't want them taking up precious room in my tin :rotfl:

    Evening

It’s freezing today. I’ve been out for lunch with friends, and didn’t take my car. I wish I had, although there wouldn’t have been anywhere to park in central London.

What an interesting weekend we've had, weather-wise. It snowed all day yesterday but hardly stuck at all! I have to admit, we did a quick march with the dog then settled in for some present wrapping, hot chocolate and a good film. :T That's how I remember Sunday when I was young - nothing much to do, how lovely. :D

I have a lovely five pound note and some small change to pot today. Have a good week potters.
