Ahh thank you everyone, I was ruddy fuming! This is what i've told my tealeaf, Frogletina, as he invited these people into my house he takes responsibility for their actions. DH wanted me to take it from his savings but I have refused. He starts a new job in the new year and I am insisting he has to refund us from his first pay packet, I want him to feel what its like to work for your money and then have someone else take it off you (especially if it was his mates that robbed us) and then maybe he will keep his hands out of my purse and his unscrupulous mates out of my house  but as my mum said, i cannot let it consume me as i'd just be damaging myself, and this close to christmas I do not want to be mulling over things I cannot change.

I have some pennies! We snuck out to the city today and went to the american dinner for lunch (best burgers ever!!) and I have a £2 coin and 4 x £1 coins for my tins :D I did have some silver but I left it all as a tip for our server as the food is soooo good and was only £15 for the two of us!

Potted £10 in £2s and another £7.50 in £1s and 50p's in the weekly purse clear-out.

Quidco total is up to £54.93 already!

Only another week to go (well 4 working days as I'm off next Friday) before the Christmas shutdown. Can't wait.

Welcome to the thread TheMsTeal. Our leader Sue-UU will give you a number to put on your signature the next time she's in. In the meantime please take the time to read the first post then grab a pot and get potting! :)

  • So sorry to hear many of you are having a bad end to the year. I hope you all stay strong and manage to enjoy Christmas surrounded by loved ones.

I’ve potted my £30 remainder of money and have been paid ready for my next 4 weeks. Will draw £100 out when I pop out later and stick with my £20 per week with £20 emergency as it’s really worked this last 4 weeks.

I think I worked out I’m due £500ish in tax repayment but I’ll wait until April and not hold my breath!

I’m full of cold and unbelievably tired but only 3 more days until school breaks off and I can have peace!
Christmas #1 with dad, nan and siblings tomorrow so I’ve got Xmas cakes to decorate and jam to make today!
