£8 leftover money this week potted and got my £20 ready for the week ahead.
Looks like everyone is doing a great job with their pots. Keep it up and there’s going to be some great totals next year!LBM: October 2016: £20,130 / Current: May 2019: £12,576 37.53%DFD: [STRIKE]February 2024[/STRIKE] April 2022?0 -
Hi everyone
I've managed to pot $20 this week. I've started my Christmas shopping so my potting money is being spent on presents. I've also started counting down as we are getting a real christmas tree this year (5 more sleeps).
I've got some of the presents wrapped, although I've never seen a puppy look so sad as mine did when he realised he had to wait for the balls I was wrapping.Number 4950 -
Haven't managed to pot much this week as I simply haven't bought anything with cash! Got a couple of bits of roadkill though...

Oh Frogletina - absolutely awful when people take advantage of another's disability in that way. Makes me so angry. And any normal person, I'm sure.
Despite a loss for the Leicester Tigers yesterday, I managed a small victory. I collected 5 unwanted returnable plastic cups (left under seats, not snatched out of hands, I hasten to add!!!)... which have a deposit of £1 each on them. So, I came back with £5 to pot. Found another 60p at the bottom of my coat pocket too! :j :jSealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
Evening Potterssssssss
DH went to the pub last night and came back with nearly £17 in change!into the pot it went
Went to a craft fair with my mum today, we were there for 3 hrs  it wasn't that big either! Went with £85, came home with £65and that included the obligatory visit to the cake and pastry stall
Need to give DH £15 back for the above change (was hoping he would donate the entire amount but alas, it was not to be
) so still got £50, so am contemplating going to Waitr0se and using a couple of the £6 off £30 spends they sent me and stocking up on bog roll and washing powder  (i'm sure the staff in there think we've got issues, we only ever buy bog roll in there and its always in rather large amounts to use the vouchers they send us :rotfl: )
Am off to have a cup of tea and a read of the christmas thread before maybe watching a film, hoping for an early night as I haven't been sleeping well this last week, what with my back giving me gyp again, DH and his feet kicking, DS and his incessant cough and DD deciding to knock her piggy bank on the floor at 5am this morning!
Oh Sue! after all these years of no-one having a rock and roll whats wrong with me, I FINALLY had a positive result from an xray! still very much in the early stages of anything, but at least its something! blood tests tomorrow so hopefully they will flag something as well and i'll be on the radar!SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Change from pockets emptied in to the tin tonight. Also cleared off the top of the snake tank and the pile of change DH Left there fell in the tin too (he refuses to use Change, a new note every time). It's only coppers, no pound coins unfortunately, but the tin feels quiet heavy already.
Sue-UU : I'm hoping to find a lot more In the girls toy boxes, lots of times when they were younger, they would have a hand full of change to play shops or whatever, never to be seen again. I'm hoping to find a bit of it.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Yes I did - well remembered. I had at least a couple of hundred.
No not living with them again thankfully. On my second pregnancy since then.
i may just be paranoid but i noticed some chipping around the coin slot with my last pot and keep looking at this one. It would be my OH if it wa happening - I bought him one for his first fathers day so he could save up and take our little boy to his first match. I knocked it over and after 2 years he has nothing in there (he had been putting in £2 coins for a while) so he;s recently emptied which makes me wonder.
I'm rambling and probably just being weird and hormonal.
I don't know. I guess the only way to know ould be log what goes in and then see if it correlates on 1st November but I worry about it eating me up.SPC#19 - 7-£666.54, 8-£489, 9-£264 10-£376 11- £305.8p 12 £329 13 - £315 14/£214 15 £177 16 £253 SPC 17 £0 of £250

I remember when you had the problem before and I had the same with a relative of mine who at the time was living with me.
I'm not sure if I have mentioned on here that my ex has alzheimers. Unfortunately money seemed to be going from his house too, which I noticed when he was in hospital. I set a trap, and the same relative walked straight into it. There was a confrontation and she admitted she had taken £10, but insisted it was the only time, that she was in dire need and was going to pay it back as soon as, which I insisted she did, but I could not prove she had taken the other missing money from earlier that week. And most likely other times as well. When I took over his finances, I was amazed at how much he had been withdrawing each month in cash.
She still owes me money which she promised to pay me on her next pay day - that was a few months ago. I know she still visits my ex, but he doesn't have much money in the house these days, for which I am grateful.

Oh I'm sorry to read this Frogletina - some people have no morals. I still say my money thief was the one who later (the same year) stole my rings. I was devastated - only took them off because of pregnancy related swelling.
I hope you get all your money back - I'm glad your ex keeps less money at homeSPC#19 - 7-£666.54, 8-£489, 9-£264 10-£376 11- £305.8p 12 £329 13 - £315 14/£214 15 £177 16 £253 SPC 17 £0 of £250

Morning Potterssssssssssssss
Aww Hickles, not againI really don't understand how people can steal from their own family and friends (as you all probably remember I have had my own little tea leaf). Keep your pot safe, I actually ended up buying one of those £30 safes and my pots now live in there so no-one but me can get to them without some serious effort! A very sad world to have to resort to that but ti was the only way to stop the money getting lifted.
Even worse for you Frogletinato tea leaf off someone is bad enough, but to take advantage of someone with your ex's issues is just plain cruel
i really hope this person has been scared off now she's been caught by you!
Well money for my pot, what do I have  I have a £2 coin :j :j, I have a £1 coin :j :j and I have a teeny tiny bit of silverso each pot gets a feed today
One thing I can't stand is sticky fingers. My dad had an awful childhood because he covered for his twin who suffered from such an ailment - it really impacted on his adulthood and many of those around him. I too grew up with a thief which only aggravated my dad and his feelings. I'm terrible though now and get very suspicious of people in my house to the point I don't actively encourage visitors. I suppose in my head it narrows down the culprits.SPC#19 - 7-£666.54, 8-£489, 9-£264 10-£376 11- £305.8p 12 £329 13 - £315 14/£214 15 £177 16 £253 SPC 17 £0 of £250
