A very good morning all SPCers! :hello: I hope you’ve all had the best of weeks and are now ready to fully enjoy the weekend!!!! :j
For those members who really aren’t well or who are low for whatever reason, take great care of yourselves, and here’s hoping these {{{{HUGS}}}} from us all will help you feel well soon. :kisses3:
I totally agree with Antomac, adventureofmemories, get married when you know you’re as ready and able to as possible; married life is difficult enough in the early times but even more so when you’re either struggling with debt or with precious little to live on. All the best for you both for when the time is right.
Ah that’s sounding better MrsShazbat, much more you too!
Hi Emily and super potting! :j
It seems as though mummy and daddy also have a lesson to learn from young Jack, Hicksy, Keep your purse in your bag and be sure hubby’s cash in his pockets/wallet!! As you say he’s only 2, bless him. :A
Still a brilliant sum potted though!!
You’ve started off really well so far 166million, keep that up and you’ll do just fine!
Well said re our members Antomac! That’s all we can hope for. That’s a fair bit you’ve potted rather than spent on travel costs in the last couple of weeks, let’s up it continues! :j Oh dear Bristol - a bit like Yeovil, all right then, a LOT like Yeovil!!!!
Aha... another who benefitted from working at home and potting what she would otherwise have spent then, 32b3, well done you!!
Well done with your potting (or almost? too) Saver-upper!
Nice work Chickadee and lovely to see you back so soon!
Hello again charlies tribe. From all you say it seems as though you’re doing very well indeed. That’s one thing about kiddies, big’ns or littl’uns, they seem to think that coppers are worth nothing - long may they do so, well until they’re in their own homes! Happy house-hunting for you meanwhile!!! :rotfl:
Remember Dragon Lily, there’s no such thing as “only £1”, every single penny added to all the others helps make the difference! ;)Forge ahead Lily!
Very well done again MrsShazbat!!! You’ve been going all out this week!indigowarrior wrote: »£3.50 in change and 2 x £20 notes.. I am saving every spare penny I have.
Excellent saving, indigowarrior!!!!! Stick to your promise and you'll be ecstatic this time next year - wealthy too!!! :jHave a lovely evening, folks, and a great weekend! Don’t forget - pot well! :j

I didn't realise the little toe rag has worked out zips... Purse now goes in a drawer upstairs. I think my tin will have to as well as I suspect some tampering going on again. I;m tempted to hide the bloody thing in my car.

How awful hickles
I remember when you had the problem before and I had the same with a relative of mine who at the time was living with me.
I'm not sure if I have mentioned on here that my ex has alzheimers. Unfortunately money seemed to be going from his house too, which I noticed when he was in hospital. I set a trap, and the same relative walked straight into it. There was a confrontation and she admitted she had taken £10, but insisted it was the only time, that she was in dire need and was going to pay it back as soon as, which I insisted she did, but I could not prove she had taken the other missing money from earlier that week. And most likely other times as well. When I took over his finances, I was amazed at how much he had been withdrawing each month in cash.
She still owes me money which she promised to pay me on her next pay day - that was a few months ago. I know she still visits my ex, but he doesn't have much money in the house these days, for which I am grateful.

Morning Potterssssssssssssss
Aww Hickles, not againI really don't understand how people can steal from their own family and friends (as you all probably remember I have had my own little tea leaf). Keep your pot safe, I actually ended up buying one of those £30 safes and my pots now live in there so no-one but me can get to them without some serious effort! A very sad world to have to resort to that but ti was the only way to stop the money getting lifted.
Even worse for you Frogletinato tea leaf off someone is bad enough, but to take advantage of someone with your ex's issues is just plain cruel
i really hope this person has been scared off now she's been caught by you!
Well money for my pot, what do I have  I have a £2 coin :j :j, I have a £1 coin :j :j and I have a teeny tiny bit of silverso each pot gets a feed today
My new toy turned up todayshe has a couple of battle scars that were not mentioned in the listing, and needed a bit of a clean, but she turns on and I shall be trying to embroider something with her today. She will be well looked after by me and I have decided as long as she fully works that her scars just give her some character
For some reason, because I had a toy, this meant we had to buy DH a van  i'm still trying to work this one out but we have a van now

£3.50 in the pot last night, so I think that makes a tenner in change for the week.
Thanks to this challenge, and the Saving for Xmas one, in the 2 years I've been actively involved so far I've finally managed to get a tidy little sum (OK, helped by a PPI cheque as well) in my savings accounts. Thanks in part to this effort, I was able to make a sizeable (for me) donation to Children in Need last week and as a result, won a signed photo of Mr Cumberbatch in one of their charity auctions (complete with certificate of authenticity) #proudfaceSPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)
