If anyone can pass on my thanks to him personally. He is one of biggest reasons (as well as Ed and Oldernotwiser) why I have stayed on these forums for so many years.

From what I remember, he lives around East Anglia and supports Norwich (not sure how much into football he is!)? But I hope he enjoys his time away from the forum.
  • Don't post very much these days but had to reply to this thread to also express my dissatisfaction at dunstonh being banned. This quote sums it up for me
If there were more IFAs with same morality and ethics as dunstonh, the industry would have such a better reputation.

Not only that but also his willingness to help on here and the sheer depth of knowledge on the financial industry and it's products/regulations that he possessed were unmatched on these boards. Many other IFA's post. None of of them are fit to lace dunstonh's boots.

Thanks for helping me out several times dunston.

:rotfl: @ whichever mod banned him.

    Hi All,

Due to the level of activity and length of membership in the forum, the decision to ban / PPR (Posting Privileges Removed) Dunstonh has been escalated to MoneySavingExpert.com Editor-in-Chief Jason Mills to be reviewed. We realise his time and activity on the forum has helped many but we need to be sure forum rules are kept and met by all. We hope to have a decision about his posting privileges soon.

The cynic in me suggests those aren't the only reasons.

    What the hell?!

I can’t imagine what Dunston has done to upset those at MSE Towers, but banishing him to the internet equivalent of Outer Mongolia seems Very OTT.
