It was pleasing to see posts from people that mentioned that whilst they disagreed at times, they enjoyed participating in the discussion. And that is what a discusson board is all about. Adults discussing things and not always agreeing but having a jolly good debate in the process. The minute discussion is snubbed out, you lose the purpose of a discussion board.
With investments, there is no best way and it is all about opinions. Whether it is tracker, managed, hybrid, advised, DIY or whatever, these are all opinions which we discuss time and again and most appreciate that. There are some bad ways to invest. Such as using unregulated, high risk mini-bonds thinking they are deposits. But enough said about them for now!
Excellent post, let the joisting continue. There are usually as many opinions as posters on this forum, so when 99.9% of posters agree that a particular sort of investment is a bad idea it says something.“So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”0 -
