As mentioned, we’ve reviewed our processes in this particular instance and dunstonh should now be able to post on the forum again. There’s been no change to our overall guidelines.
Thank you Jason. That is the correct decision to have made.0 -
Glad to see the back of him. There are too many posters on here that dominate every post.
This forum has lost what it was in the early days.

Boo :eek:This forum has lost what it was in the early days.
Join Date: Sep 2017. Ahh, the warm days at the end of summer 2017. How wonderful in those early daysI am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. I would like to say thank you to everyone who posted. Reading through the threads I am astonished at the response and very humbled by it.
I don't only post here to help people. Other posters have taught me things and it allows me to keep up my knowledge in areas where I may not have much involvement. There are countless times someone has said something that has prompted me to look it up or adjust my opinion. So, I thank you all as well.
It was pleasing to see posts from people that mentioned that whilst they disagreed at times, they enjoyed participating in the discussion. And that is what a discusson board is all about. Adults discussing things and not always agreeing but having a jolly good debate in the process. The minute discussion is snubbed out, you lose the purpose of a discussion board.
With investments, there is no best way and it is all about opinions. Whether it is tracker, managed, hybrid, advised, DIY or whatever, these are all opinions which we discuss time and again and most appreciate that. There are some bad ways to invest. Such as using unregulated, high risk mini-bonds thinking they are deposits. But enough said about them for now!
The important thing is that we continue to debate in good faith and are allowed to continue to debate in good faith. And I very much hope that we will be in the future.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
