I turned over to watch Martin on ITV tonight and they have damn well changed the programme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shez, I love my Romuska, mind you, you do have to be careful where you put the lid, as a hole in the cover of my toaster testifies....I make scones and cake in it, it will cook a chicken and small joints, makes superb toad in the hole, and is very cheap to run............my friend in Humgary uses one, she does not have an oven in her flat, just a Romuska and a hot plate.......mind you hers is bigger than mine. I bought mine from Lakeland some years ago when we had the touring caravan, it was very handy, I produced some spectacular meals from it at times. I always take it with me when we go on holiday, we mostly do self catering.....................

I am feeling a little better, having had someting to eat tonight, but could sleep for England just now, have a feeling that I will be in bed early tonight, thank heavens its the weekend and I can chill.....have nothing to get up for, so can just lay in if I want to....

know how you feel.....I just had a look at the colin firth website and found I had missed him being on parkinson end of sept!!!!:o (did read the script but not the same as seeing him in the flesh on tv)

Not much OS being done in my house at the moment.

I've just started to introduce DD to solids so I'm using all my cooking skills on her.

I've done shepherd's pie for DH and I for tea with a packet mix. I added broccoli and mushrooms, blitzed to tiny pieces as DH doesn't like vegetables that isn't a carrot or a pea and are cooked to death.

Freezer is full as I've had my meat order from the butcher, had pot roast brisket on Sunday - lovely, frozen the leftovers.

Jobs for tomorrow, hoover the downstairs, brush the kitchen floor and make some Twinks - biscuit tin is empty DH is getting withdrawal symptoms.

Is a Remoska a little bit like the halogen oven things that are always on the shopping channels?

According to this article they are more or less the same sort of thing?
