Morning all!
Luxor4T- I don't know how you cope with both wrists affected, must be terribly frustrating
I use the gifts of bad language, self pity, bad temper and have even been known to throw my toys out of my pram = I cope badly as I keep expecting to wake up better each morning. Yes, I'm not very bright.
Gave in (or did something sensible) yesterday and followed some advice from a RA website. I ordered a battery tin opener, jar grips etc etc from Lakeland Plastics. The 10% off offer more or less covered the P&P, so fairly OS.
So when the order arrives (by courier so quite soon) just watch me open a tin!!! haven't done that for 3 weeks now.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Ok.....well scrap everything I said earlier...I am being admitted this afternoon and they are going to sort me out at Kings. I am bricking it:eek:         ....I will try and get OH to update if I have to stay in ages, but probably looking at 2 weeks.......have I told anyone before that i HATE hospitals. They'll be setting up tube feeding, introvenous anti-biotics, fluid drip and vitamin/nutrients drips....oh and for good measure....iron infusions.
All hugs and love appreciated.
