    Morning all

N9eav - Have a great day getting your tackle out - :o Sorry but I had to.

DLB - Glad the birthday went well and hope the little party thing goes well tomorrow.

PP - Hope all goes well with the Dentist today - sorry to hear you're feeling so poorly - lets hope it all gets sorted out soon.

Hugs and waves to the rest of you.

Cloudy here this morning but quite warm - off into town with a friend this morning for a wander then off to Mr T's - don't need much though as we're away all weekend it cuts down on meals (don't you love it when other people feed you!!)

Did a few MS phone calls yesterday, easy money - getting quite a few MS jobs through for this area now and have joined up with another company who seem to be offering me lots too.

Not sure what's for dinner tonight, my sense of smell has just come back after this sinusitis attack and everything smells so strong that it's putting me off eating anything over than fruit......probably not a bad thing.

Anyway - less waffle - best go put my face on - hope you all have a great day.

Nice quiet day for me today, as i have another one off!!! Once the children are at school, im coming home for a bath, hairwash and a lot of relaxing - not due to have another day off for a long time, so im going to make the most of this one (need the money more than the day off!!!).
Think some nice bisuits and hot chocolate with marshmallows and squirty cream will be called for as well!!!

Need to get ready for our days away - my mum is 65 next week, so we are going to a surprise party for her, we dont think she has a clue at the moment, so hopefully she will be pleased. Does mean that i will want to get the house clean before we go today, but will do that inbetween all the relaxing im planning on doing!!!

Also wasnt to get my lovely new laptop set up - ive made sure the battery is fully charged, so should be all ready to go!!!

OK, better get these children ready for school, being good and walking today as it looks a nice day.

    Have a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    morning all!
using DS1's computer today which is fun as I am not used to his weird keyboard! Mine is modern and sprung etc, but this is a real antique and sounds like a typewriter - a real blast from the past & quite uncomfortable for me. In true MSE student style he says there is nothing wrong with it as it still works.

PEN PIN - praying for you.

TIRED MUM & VAST SARAH - hoping that things will get better and that you are feeling hopeful

TAPLADY - hope you are coping better than I am with your wrist!

    ANCASTA - enjoy!!!!

OM went to work early, so shall have to dress myself which is problematical as i can't pull things up... if you get my meaning. Had to make a hole in the plastic milk carton yesterday as I could not unscrew the top!

Made £18 ish on E-bay last night, so shall rush to the Post Office this morning. I'm wondering if we'll get post today - none yesterday- as I am waiting for my boots mailing! I enjoy bargain hunting in boots, yesterday I spent £2.18 total to get the 'expert to go' free gift: a useful tin with 3 items and a small sachet inside, all of which I can use.

DD says thank you for all the birthday greetings, by the sound of it she was in lectures all day then out most of the night: gathering rosebuds while she may!

Going to have an adventure this afternoon and go for a train ride. Shall be fine as long as someone open the door!

    Have a great MSE day,
(((((((((((((((hugs to all who need or want one))))))))))))))))))))

Well - today is the day I fetch my new car! I know I shouldn't but what the heck!

DD still upset, she drew a lovely picture and signed it with the date he hamster died!

TGIF! Its not come round quick enough for me
Must fetch my quilt from the laundrette. Its the kingsize quilt, too big to wash myself.
The post a few ebay parcels I sold last night.

    Morning All

Have a very sore neck today for some reason:confused:

Spent the afternoon wandering around town with a very close friend yesterday. Was a good catch up session. Was meant to be going out to lunch today, but she's cancelled - money saved! Got tomorrow off, so that'll just be a lazy day. Hoping my car will be fixed this evening, so I can get that back again. Shouldn't cost too much as friends and family are doing the work and can get parts at trade prices:T So fingers crossed it works!

Got a very long day at work as I'm working on a big project, which needs to be ready by the end of play on Monday. My internet's up and down this morning, so this has probably been waiting to be posted for about 2-3 hours by now. It's driving me mad as I rely on my web for work. It's stupid - why can't they make it work. It's only our office that gets effected. Every other base is fine:mad:

    Hello everybody

Good luck with the dentist, penny! - let OH sort em out. Can't be allowing so-called professionals to take chances with your health. Would your consultant perhaps take the time to contact the dentist by phone - maybe that would get the message across with more urgency.

ancasta - good luck with the move and the new kitty. Great idea about the blanket - at least the kitten will only have known living with you at the new address and won't be hankering after going back to the old address. Regards living in a 'new house' that may not 'exist' - this happened to us last November. We found many problems trying to get things delivered - Argos being one of the worst offenders. Their computer kept giving out another totally different post code when we gave our address - and the girls on the tills were less than useless. Had to keep asking for supervisors to come and sort the orders out. Then they would phone us from delivery van to tell us we didn't exist cos not on satnav/a-z! The number of times I've given directions to a driver/second man as he's driving. Another thing is be careful about registering with the power company - you may find that the house is still registered with the builder's name/plot number and that can cause delays in the account(s) being transferred to your name. You may also have to go with a power company not of your own choosing to start off with. When we moved, I was overseeing the move of 60 older people and it was my responsibility to make sure that they were all signed up for gas/elec - it was my biggest headache for 5 months (Nov-Mar) - even now we are still sorting out two lots of crossed-meter problems.

take care grannybroon - feet up and let somebody else make you a cuppa and sort house/family/whatever for you

congratulations MRSMCAWBER - keep up the good work - I should join you all on that weightloss thread really :o - I need a kick 'up the proverbial' to motivate me!

good luck and (((((hugs))))) for everybody else and pass em on to anybody else who may need 'em.

Still waiting for dg2 to arrive - my money was on Wednesday 10th - so dd has let me down big-style! My line manager has told me I can drop everything and just GO when 'anything happens' - cos I'm dd's birthing partner :j.

I left a ham shank in the SC all last night - got up to a wonderful aroma this morning. Removed the cooked shank with great difficulty (two large spoons) and put lots of veggies, some of the meat, soup and broth mix, herbs and stock cubes into the liquid and it's now turning into a wonderful pan of soup for tonight's meal. Later I will add some dumplings into it - mr ollie won't eat anything like that without those!!!

Have a good day OS'ers - I'll pop back later if I can get the opportunity.

    Morning all!

(((hugs))) to Tired mum, GrannyBroon and esp PennyPincher - hope your DH gets things sorted for you xxx

Luxor4T- I don't know how you cope with both wrists affected, must be terribly frustrating

Catowen - I am finding the Jodi Picoult very hard to get into which is most unlike her books, I'll persevere and hope it gets easier, I hope you had a better night!

    MRSMCAWBER - congrats on the weight loss!:T :T :T

My wrist is feeling a lot better today, the ice and rest seem to have helped but the doc did warn me not to be tempted to do anything until it was completely healed or I could be back at square one again very quickly!

Plans for today are to attempt some left handed ironing - should be interesting:D then am meeting Mum for lunch and she is taking me to leominster to go shopping. Tonight I am off to Ludlow to see Essence Of Ireland - a Riverdance type show with work so am looking forward to that.

    Have a good day all

    take care xxx
