I've started it recently - my circumstances mean that it's not possible for me to attend a group regularly, and joining online seemed very expensive (£70 for 12 weeks I think ) so I just bought the starter pack of books off e-bay and have been going it alone - I've managed to lose over a stone in the first six weeks, though still have a long way to go.

I'm a similar sort of story. I wanted to start cutting back after my hol so bought the books before my hol. Been doing it 4 months now and there's a lot of variety to keep at it tbh

    And dogs - we've got 2

    - p is a cairns terrier - inherited from an old collegue who was moving in with her boyfriend and couldn't have him anymore. He was a bit feral at the start - jumped over the wall, ran in front of cars once he was off the lead. Was like a cat with 9 life's but thank the Lord he's calmed down.

And mums is like a staffie, as soft as muck, kisses me through the railings when I'm going down stairs, and a real laugh.

Thought it had been quiet here :D

Really feel I am at the hospital more than I am at home these days :(
Feeling rather naff, bruised and tired. Think I might have done too much today, but I hate just resting

    Evening all.

Food as per plan today except I didn't get up in time for breakfast after a rubbish night, and I made speedy chilli instead of bolognese, with the addition of carrots, courgette, mushrooms and peppers - very tasty - and 2 Alpen lights to keep me going while stripping wallpaper. Might have some crispbreads later on if I'm hungry.

    Tomorrows plan:
B Bran flakes berries yoghurt honey
L Leftover chilli (if OH doesn't take it to work) with JP
D SW quiche with baby roasties and salad/veg

If I don't have a loss this week, I think I'll need to shake things up a bit - any suggestions welcome!

your tea looks lovely as usual - I take it you've got a cooker now??
    Kathryn, take care.
