changed tea and had steak and mash with spinach, cucumber and tomatoes instead. super lean steak lovely and rare
used the frying steaks from asda and they were great...littlie wasn't sure (medium/well done for her and OH ate one (medium/well done) and the other had a tiny hint of pink so he didn't eat that....but I did ha no wastage here
really enjoyed and surprisingly he did too so that's another very easily adapted meal to add to the roster!************************************

My DH eats what he's given!!:D:rotfl:
Seriously though he is quite easy to feed. I had a problem last night as when I went to cook the fish I realised that all the packs I had needed to be defrosted first. All the veg and the SW chips were at the ready. In the end I had LM sausages with mine and he had Lidl fishcakes. Fortunately I keep those in the freezer for DH to cook for himself when I'm out with friends.
I almost always put our veg in serving dishes rather than plate meals up dusty. That way I end up with plenty of leftovers which I have for lunch a few days a week. I also make a big pot of chilli (veggie or plain) and portion that up for the freezer. I have it for lunch with a JP. Soup's a good standby too. Most recipes are easy to adapt to SW friendly versions.0 -

Evening all and welcome to our newbies! Congrats to the Miss Slinky winners and nominees - what a wonderful boost that must be. Thanks to Kathrynha for the new thread and your efforts on behalf of us all. I put my target on the old thread so I hope you've got it.
Well, to add to my extra syns last weekend, I've had fish and chips today (under Dads influence.) I'm fighting the temptation to write off the whole week but if I behave for the next couple of days syns wise I can hopefully avoid a gain. This last 7lbs is proving a bit of a slog!0 -

Thanks for new thread Kathrynha. I don't weigh in until tomorrow and was hoping that would end the last thread as it's going to be a bad one which I was hoping to put behind me! Not sure what to put as my target... think I'm going to go for -8lb as this will take me back to my 6 stone award plus another 2lbs to get me into a different stone bracket. I feel like I've been saying that for ages and not really getting anywhere and this time of year is tricky with lots of nights out. Will have to try my best!0
