Evening all
Apologies for being AWOL last night. My mood was very low so I went into self-destruct mode. After eating three crusty cobs (bread always my pick me up) containing fish cakes and butter I did feel better. Back on it 100% today with an SP day. I went to buy some new tops today and I actually realised for the first time what a difference there is in me- I was quite shocked! I also got the email about my sponsors meal in January. I have set myself another interim target of having my 3 stone award by the time it comes around. I have 11 weeks to lose 10.5lbs- I know with Christmas and everything it will be difficult and I have allowed for that, feeling very motivated!
Today’s menu:
B: HEXB Quaker Super Goodness porridge, HEXA Alpro choc soya drink (+1.5) raspberries
L: Ham and egg salad, melon, water
T: Salmon stir fry, Fab lolly (4) water
S: HEXB wholemeal roll, 1 syn for spread, chicken, salad. HiFi bar (3) Quavers (4.5)
Syns: 14
Steps: 11951

Well done :T:T:T:T:T:T
I will never achieve this.... I used to be 9 st 2 lb and recall being in a full pub, and a man putting his hands on my waist as he tried to get by.... he said 'ooh you're fat'.... I verbally slapped that man so hard I think he would never forget!

Your interim target sounds very achievable Mrs Ryan.
Today's plan:
Breakfast - yogurt and fruit
Snacks - hi fi bars, quavers, grapes, sandwich, baby bel
Dinner - hm fish cakes and coleslaw
HA - milk and baby bel
HB - hifi bars
Syns - too many but I need to take something to eat otherwise they will offer me hospital food which would be more syns.Zebras rock0 -
Morning all.
Hope all goes well for you at the hospital Kathrynha
MrsRyan, it's good when others notice your changing shape but I think it's a great boost when you see it yourself. Well done.
Gettingtheresometime, what kind of choir do you sing with? I'm in a choir too (we're performing tonight) and I love it.
STS for me today - think my scales are stuck! I'm not surprised as I was off plan totally last weekend. I'm going to make a real effort this week so I might post my menus here so you can help me stick to the straight and narrow.
So today:
B Bran flakes, rasps and 0% greek yoghurt, drizzle of honey
L ham and egg salad with LTL mayo, apple
snack - (late tea today) - cauli and horseradish soup, 2 crispbreads
D Campfire stew from pinch of nom with green beans
Syns - honey, mayo, crispbreads 3.5 - might add in an Alpen Light 3
HEA is milk in coffee and tea
I can't remember my pre pregnancy weight (it was 27 years ago) but apart from a brief period after the birth of my first, I've never been that weight since!0 -

No way am I going back to my pre pregnancy weight! I was really under weight back then - not through lack of eating but just how my metabolism was. I'd also look really scrawny at that weight:rotfl:
Today's plan:
B - bubble & squeak; egg, beans
L - LO shepherds pie; LO cabbage
D - pulled pork; corn on the cob; potatoes. There will be a few syns for the pulled pork rub.
HEA - milk
HEB - ?
Syns - pork rub
