I finished, I didn't stop, I'm exhausted! :rotfl: Fitb1t steps for the day were in the region of 32,000!
£35x paid off CCs today (a couple of regular payments and £266 found by slashing some of our pots to the bone). It's getting there - I believe every single one of our CCs is now under 60% utilisation, total utilisation is something like 45%.
I took a half day and retrieved the car. Starter motor has been replaced. They serviced it at the same time and gave it a wash and a hoover to bootYou really know that you pay too much for new cars (even the cheapos) when they treat you this well

Well done! No wonder you are exhausted. We keep having the 0 emissions £0 VED discussion re a small electric shopper to replace DH's petrol commuting car when he retires next summer. I know what you mean. They are all just so expensive and the technology is still relatively immature, meaning a toddler is likely to be like a human one (troublesome and expensive 2-3 year old) Loads of the three-year contract replacements on the forecourts mean they are all superficially attractive.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Is there any particular reason electric appeals? Rising cost of fuel? Good natured hippy thoughts?Well done on the run :j :j
Cheers beanie0 -
I had made a wee miscalculation with my CCs (the balance on the largest card minus the regular payment due this week was *just* above 60%). A fan of even numbers like all MFWers, I have paid an extra £1 to tidy this up
Another regular payment has gone out as well, so total debt has now passed under £18,000 and total credit utilisation is under 45%.
