@Busy_Mee - yes, still working through a batch I got at £6 and sell for £15-19. Fees and postage all reduce the total profit, but compared to any other "investment" the return is good, just unpredictable.
Unfortunately we just gave our Duplo away for free! Ah well, it went to a neighbour and parent of DD's pal 🙂
Also starting to consider whisky again, but it's very expensive and (amusingly) highly illiquid. Just bought my first bottle for storage in ages £145!2 -
I had a lovely lie in this morning (featuring a very weird dream in which I was taking DD, one of her friends and two cats on holiday by myself and was extremely stressed)!
Budgets trimmed, a wee discrepancy fixed in YNAB (I had categorised PB purchases as transfers, but hadn't created a corresponding budget "sale", meaning my average figures for savings weren't updating), £25 of PB bought and purchased myself a bargain two film anime Blu-Ray that I've always fancied a copy of
Plan for the rest of the day is minimal housework, family fun and rugby late this afternoon. I have lost another 1.2lbs and food today is looking good: a couple of sausages and a huge coffee with two tbsps of double cream for breakfast; miso soup and honeydew melon for lunch; butter fried steak with cauliflower and a little parmesan for dinner. Less than 5lbs to 14.5 stone.

We gave our Duplo away for free too. Have been kicking myself as I am now trying to replace it so that I have a box for our little visitors. We kept the Lego and Sylvanians but need something for smaller people.
I was really surprised by the second hand market that exists.3 -
You were right about the weight moving again. No lower than the lowest figure I have seen but 12lbs total. My jeans are a little loose but otherwise most undergarments no more spacious. Just one meal for me today - chipolata salad earlier than normal too as we realised late that we had missed lunch. DH can snack later (I shall need an early night after two days of cricket - brilliant though; chess on a field!)Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far

May have gone entirely overboard on calories (2200), but it was because I planned dinner wrong, not excessive boozing. Not a drop touched my lips until after the match 🥳🎊🎉🏉🏉🏉🥃
Just checked my Fitbit and there was actually a 15 minute period at the end where I was in fat burn because my heart rate was so high!3 -
Morning ed & co!
Spiffing rugger result yesterday. The best performing team definitely lifted the trophy. It was a good match to watch, I loved the inventiveness of Scotland's play - Duhan van der Merwe's (unfortunately) missed try opportunity - due to the bounce of the ball, was just so sparkling and opportunistic. And in the second half, the blue wall was deployed to squish any possible opposition advancement. Well done Scotland!

Surprisingly after yesterday's excesses (I may have celebrated a little), I've dropped another poundToday was/will be bacon and eggs for breakfast, kippers for lunch and probably bacon and salad for dinner.
