Mhh... slightly worried about an eB@y sale (secondhand phone worth £20 or so). Chap who bought it claims that he had updated his address in Payp@l and that I've sent it to the wrong address. Luckily I was very modern in my dispatch method and purchased tracked postage through eB@y. Payp@l details also show the (incorrect) address and the item was delivered and signed for. I believe I'm off the hook in terms of Buyer Protection biting me on the behind, but I never like these thankfully rare mishaps...
£79.09 paid off CC - enjoying some downtime after another dreadful night with DD - Mrs E has taken her to her drama class :j
The takeaway wasn't as nice as I'd expected, I think we ordered too much. Munched until we were exploding and watched half a movie :rotfl:
Mrs E is also taking two returns to the delivery office today, so the decks are clear in terms of admin. I have a few more sellable items (no longer necessary Lego sets, a limited edition Blu Ray box set etc.) that I might list this weekend and I might try one of these DVD flogging sites - can anyone recommend one that's straightforward and no stingier than the rest? Ideally they'd offer free delivery and a barcode scanner of some sort...
Edit: woohoo! One of the K1ndle daily deals was already on my wish list - £1.29 vs. £6 for the paperback0 -
I have used ziffit and music magpie before with no issues. If you go through your desktop you can normally get get quidco on top. On the respective sites you may get a banner pop up offering an extra X% on your first tradeknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

Cheers P_D, will look into those. Luckily my music tastes run to the specialised occasionally and there a few CDs etc. worth selling individually on eB@y
*Edit: Had forgotten how unrewarding selling media is! Made something like £13 for selling 25 CDs, although I can get them all through Sp0tify and it freed up three small shelves in our bookcase.
Also have 40 eB@y listings that should hopefully be a little more rewarding.0 -
What about the music you forget you have and loved? how does that work with Spotify? How do you rediscover your music from a certain time (it might be an age thing, that you don't forget)?Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Spotify's algorithms will create playlists for you with music it thinks you will like, based on what other people who like what you listen to also like.
There is also an extensive playlist library which is good for (re)discovering gemsknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

Well, any music I've ever bought physically or digitally from Am@azon can be downloaded again and Sp0tify has a ridiculous amount of music. More often than not, it's a case of checking out a band that I used to love, only to discover that they've released another 5 albums since then and I get to binge on them
Sold another 2 CDs since my last post, although after purchasing 25 card mailers and paying fees and postage I think I'm at -£1 :rotfl:
Hey ho, no more packaging costs until I sell at least 23 CDs - that might take a while.
£78.30 paid off CC.
Edit: found a random limited edition box set that may sell for £50, or never sell. Listed it on the offchance, I can't remember ever listening to it0 -

Sold another CD.
Back to work, I didn't leave the house this weekend after Thursday evening0 -
You say that like it might be a bad thing! I had to go out and resented it!
Well I'm not surprised you didn't leave the house this weekend. Full-blown pants weather combined with a little personal fragility following your fall. Probably better for you to nurture yourselfSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

The random box set sold! £48 or so after fees and postage
Feeling a bit stupid as it would have been an extra fiver if I'd utilised a capped fees offer available to me.
£124.71 paid off CC.
Have found another Blu Ray box set that I have been swithering over selling (it's a film that I absolutely love, but I think I'd absolutely love no debts even more). Don't think that it would make as much as I'd like in the UK (discontinued but readily available), but probably worth listing for overseas buyers with deep pockets!
On the maturity front, we were discussing a cheap trip to France paid for from our pocket money, but decided that it would be better to keep the money until our debts are gone. It's our 10 year wedding anniversary next year and we'll definitely be doing something special to commemorate it.0 -
